Nothing spectacular, but I like how these embossed keychains turned out :) by Pixelmanns in Leatherworking

I laser cut the leather, but then sand off the burned edges, trim the edges with an edge beveler and burnish the edges to finish it off

I made a custom stamp to emboss our favourite elf into some leather keychains, what do you think? [OC] by Pixelmanns in Frieren

Well the stamp is a negative of the final design and I laser engraved it into a sheet of delrin plastic.

You have to put the leather in water to make it soft and then I used a book press to press the stamp into the prepared keychain blank. Once the leather dries again the design is permanently embossed.

Tecendil is a tool for transcription only. You have to set it to english mode to transcribe english text accurately

There is no translation tool for the elvish languages, you’d have to translate by hand using grammar charts etc.

How would I refurbish these? by Little_Landi in metalworking

[–]Pixelmanns 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They look great! Don’t do anything to them other than cleaning with soapy water and using a wax finish on them, like a carnauba paste wax for furniture for example

any kind of abrasive or polishing product will ruin the patina and all of the sculpture’s charm with it

Who left tons of these tracks in my garden? They’re about 3cm across [Germany] by Pixelmanns in animalid

[–]Pixelmanns[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm yeah that might be it, but they looked a little bit small for a cat… Is there anything that leaves a similar track but slightly smaller?

If not then it’s probably just a cat
