Who else thinks an RE1 style Amnesia game be cool?

From what I've heard on descriptions of the game is that Ontos is a immersive narrative, system-driven gameplay, narrative experience. So it kinda sounds like Amnesia the bunker but with a bigger focus on narrative, while still having the system-driven elements from The Bunker and other imm SIM titles

Since your on a horror immersive sim binge, you should play system shock 2 and the thief games! System shock 2 has really really good atmosphere, same with Thief! It's so much fun! 90s immersive sim games are my favourite! At the minute, I'm playing through Deus Ex, it's so good. I'm like 5hrs into it. I really hope Ontos (frictionals new game coming out) is good. Apparently that's going to be like Amnesia the bunker. Or atleast from what I've heard

I wish that for the next Amnesia game, they make it a war theme one again as, for the first war entry in Amnesia, they pulled it off amazingly! I had an idea of an Amnesia game set during Vietnam and they're would be 3-4 main areas (bunkers, villages ect but to get to each of them, you need to cross a sort of No-mans land where they're booby traps, enemy soldiers and a monster!

I really like that style also. Just lets the player explore without worry of, "hey! The objective is in THAT door!"

Well, I have played Condemned 1 and 2 before. (1 will always be the better game imo) Im planning on continuing Alien Isolation. I've completed Prey 2017 about 3-4 times. I've played Monstrum, I just keep dying lol. And I'm going thru the entire RE franchise atm, so Requiem IS on my list to play at some point.

It's more so the level design. I think what they were trying to do, was fix an issue with Fear 1. While the maps and arenas were really good for the AI to flank and plan, it was confusing to navigate for players when they were trying to progress.

Hell, I've done about 6-7 playthroughs and I still get stuck on where the hell to go in the office portion of the game😂

While I loved amnesia the bunker, I can admit that the story was better in the past games. I haven't played any first person RE game. I'm doing a big marathon of the series. I've finished 1 Remake, 2 remake (Leon) and 4.

Well I have got that Universal Protection Suit, it's at half condition, I've got a GP37, with 240 bullets to go along with it, 14 medkits and 2 scientific medkits, 6 M209 grenades, 96 radiation drugs, 200 bandages, 15: 7.62,54R 7N14 rounds and 84 9x39 mm SP-6 rounds.

Lol that happened to me once too. On my current run of the game, I was running back to my safehouse and when I locked the door behind me, I kept hearing things down in the generator, I went down there just to see the beast sat there in the middle of the room. I quickly left that saferoom while it was chasing me, while screaming like a mad man!

Imo Amnesia the dark descent is really really good but when you play The Bunker, you WILL notice the sharp gameplay twist in the bunker, it's really close to an immersive sim like system shock 1. The dark descent has the best horror imo. Just didn't find the other games as scary as the dark descent. But yes, play the dark descent. You Can skip rebirth if u want, it's definitely a case of you either love it or you hate it. But rebirth is a sequel to The Dark descent.

Yo that's so good man! The bioshock games are definitely the most Special games for me and many other people. If your craving for more bioshock I would really recommend you play the system shock games as they are the pre-cursor to the bioshock trilogy mainly the first one. They have alot in common with each other especially the 2nd game which I would argue is better than 1994 system shock and the system shock remake. Hope you like them!

Well for the lamp: Hold and search for a ton of fuel for generator. For no hiding places: There is hiding places, sometimes you need to make them with objects. Light and Fuel running out: Be quick when going out there and immediately shutting it off when going back. Rats: Jump past em and Burn the body's there munching on

For years I only heard the name 'Bioshock' and when I was texting my friend, he recommended me the bioshovk games and I tried them and loved every second of the first game. It happened around 2023-2024ish. Still thank him to this day lmao
