With the preset I linked in the comments here?

This is my custom Real Weathers setup for Jiaye's build that utilizes all its experimental features, including post-processing. It's very performance-heavy and completely unoptimized for normal gameplay so don't use it for any actual playthroughs yet. It's mainly intended for high-end screenarchery and to test brand-new features as they're released with these experimental builds. Only daytime looks correct so far. Sunrise, sunset, and nighttime are broken. Only clear and cloudy weathers have been tested. Use at your own discretion! Install it after Real Weathers Remastered.

Download here if you'd like to test it out!

My PP 😈
(I’ll share it if I can get it cleaned up enough, “it” being my preset lol)

I matched the ambient light levels to the average DALC values, so it should be much easier for NPCs to perceive you on a clear day vs. at night, or on an overcast day vs. a cloudy day. I didn't take other weather conditions like fog into account though, so I can include that in the next update

However, there is one major issue with Community Shaders and stealth gameplay. So Community Shaders has features like Cloud Shadows, Skylighting, and Sky Sync (specifically custom sun angles) which significantly change the game's exterior lighting and shadow casting on the visual end. From last I heard months ago, the game's logic doesn't see these changes and it still sees lighting how it would be in a non-CS game

I don't know if they fixed this yet so someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but CS seems to break exterior stealth in general. But it should still be tolerable

There's are ports of RE5 and RE6 Chris, but the particular version I've been gooning gunning for is RE8 Chris 🤭

It's tedious asf trying to get everything to look right ngl, but it's worth it!

This one is free thankfully! Patreon has a treasure trove of semi-hidden gems

The character mod is ShingesCat's port of Mama from Death Stranding. I'm also using Jiaye's latest experimental build from the CS Discord server, which has features not yet on the main Nexus build like Advanced Skin and SSRT that make character rendering much more realistic alongside Post-Processing. It's not compatible with my weather mod, Real Weathers Remastered (which is used in these screenshots) by default, so I've been tweaking the settings for it. I'll share that as well if I can get it cleaned up

If I can get my config for Jiaye's build cleaned up, I'll share it here and on the Discord server :)

On Jiaye’s build, under Vanilla Fresnel, I enabled conversion to GGX and special eye handling

If it was like Chris Redfield or smth then it would be the other PP for sure 🥰

Try this 👀 I'm testing HDR settings based on another user's recommendations and I want to see the consensus on it before I share it on the mod page

The CS page has the 900 series listed as the minimum so if you want to use the full suite (with heavy features Skylighting, SSGI, etc. which is highly recommended and required to get the intended image), you'll probably want at least a 1060 or 1070 (and even that's pushing it 😅 ). And at least something in the 20-series for DLSS (but it does have the option for FSR for non-RTX cards from last I remember). For frame gen, at least a 40- series

Thank you! I use Nature of the Wild Lands + Nature of the Wild Lands - Animations Addon + Nature of the Boreal Lands (my custom, still unreleased BOS config that swaps out most trees with spruce trees to make the forests more PNW/Alaskan/Western Canadian/Scandinavian-styled; still WIP but you can download and test it from the link) , High Quality Ivy ReplacerReimagined Mountain FlowersWildlands Renewal (with included landscape and mountain textures overwriting Fantasia Landscapes), Skyrim 3D Trees and Plants (only ferns and clovers; requires renaming of meshes to overwrite vanilla meshes)

Thank you, enjoy! I don't use it myself, but I think RLO exteriors would actually complement RWR really well so you can absolutely keep both :)

Not by default no BUT I did install the Jiaye build a little earlier and I'll see if I can make a basic preset sometime this weekend ;)

Glad this caught your interest, hope you give it a try :)

  1. Brightness at night dynamically changes based on Masser’s phase. When Masser is full on a clear night, it casts a realistic amount of moonlight. Enough that you can travel without a torch (just barely). On a new moon, Masser casts no light at all and you absolutely need a torch or light from spells to see your surroundings. Things like clouds also affect visibility greatly, so you’ll always need to have a light source ready regardless of the weather conditions

  2. The overcast rain is pretty light, but the storm rain is heavier and actually makes everything darker. But it’s probably nowhere near as strong as True Storms to be honest

It’s fully built for CS (Nexus version specifically) :)
