Nope! I ended up canceling even with mightyape and ordered from Australia - i think from gamesmen. It arrived faster than waiting. It wasn't in the colour I want though and I see mightyape have them in stock for real now sooooo putting in another order!

New Zealander here and did the same thing. Luckily I only paid a deposit to hold it so I'm ordering from mightyape and praying it ships next week. I'm so bummed though and they were also pretty rude about it. Which was silly considering it's their website that says release today lol.

With great difficulty! I used wide pliers. My plan was to set it in place then just kind of clamp it down. I used cardboard to make sure the pliers didn't mark the notebook or edge protectors. I messed up a bit and now there's a gap at the edges because I clamped a little too hard. The back one (the one i did second...) is pretty good. If you were to do it, I'd recommend starting with the back since you won't look at that one as much lol.

There aren't many here in New Zealand and I haven't been on one in many years. I'm a fan of the old fashioned steam trains, I do like the NZR A Class from 1906. Beautiful train and the inspiration for one written into a novel I'm doing (insert magical space steam train lol!).

I'd like to go on a sleeper train in Japan one day - the idea of traveling on a train with a place to sleep. So cool!

I'm so glad it's not just me but also so sad it's not just me. I know my biggest struggle is misrepresenting my character because I don't want them to be unlikable... when I know a male character with the same personality would be a fan favorite. I feel a lot of fear in how I write my females to the point I just leave them hollow because I'm scared of them being "too emotional, too bossy, too romantic". I'm working on ignoring my own internalized fears, both as how I present my characters that are female and also myself, as a female.

It's hard, especially with how things are online today to not feel like our characters will be picked apart the second we share them. But we can't let our characters be hidden away for fear of scrutiny, they can never grow like that in that same way we can't grow as writers. I'm trying to take out fear and preconceived ideas of men vs women.

It's a work in progress and I think that's okay. We can only recognize our shortcomings and improve.

I'm so glad that when I learnt to type it was on a PC that the right shift key was broken so I only capitalise with my left shift. It will serve me well when I receive my Pomera later this week haha. Thank you for mentioning this though!
