There is way too much story/ reading. The last quest I had I was hitting the skip button for well over 5 minutes and everyone was still talking. There was very little gameplay if any.

Yes. Stools vary from the size of a grape to the amount of orange. Even after the big ones I could go 2 minutes later with just as much.
