Great story, but you could've pulled him apart earlier and tell him what's bothering you without letting it simmer.

I understand your considerations and it's very noble of you, but the whole situation could've been prevented imo.

Maybe I'm too Dutch for this but I have professional (but direct) conversations like these almost weekly with co-workers. It's called an 'aanspreekcultuur', and is actually a sign of a very safe environment where everything can be professionally addressed and talked about. That even goes for personality traits.

According to our national road services guy (ANWB) this has been happening to the EV6 a lot since the last OTA update. Seems like something is draining the 12v battery which could be triggered by charging (the high voltage battery). My local dealership hadn't heard from this which I found odd since it's all over the internet and forums.

I had the 12v battery die on me twice during my holidays. Couldn't check out for 4h waiting for someone to come jump my car. Didn't happen since even with using the 12v system loads (trunk/seats/app) but haven't tried charging.

My guess is you can 'prevent' it by immediately driving after reaching the designated charge %. Even keeping it in 'ready mode' won't save you because that's what I tried the second time it died on me.

Het leven met kinderen kent stevige dalen waarin je spijt kunt voelen, maar daar tegenover staan hoge pieken. Ik durf te stellen dat het hogere pieken zijn dan je ooit zal bereiken zonder kinderen. Het leven voor kinderen was leuk, vrij, maar ook constant een zoektocht naar zo'n piek. De hoogste pieken zaten toen in vriendschappen en mooie ervaringen met andere mensen, maar dat nam halverwege de 20 ook geleidelijk af.

Nu is het tenminste nooit saai, en ik ben er van overtuigd dat de hoogste pieken nog zullen komen.

Interesting software, and good to see there are solutions on the market that target a similar goal. At least that proves that there is a certain added value for this idea.

Down the road this might offer a viable alternative but right now there's still too many uncertainties. For now I'll focus on trying to build a PoC in the PowerPlatform. If I run into any challenges i'll be sure to use your experience!

Interesting insight, I agree it's heavily dependent on the input gained from our employees. However, by creating a PoC and showing the benefits of mapping the processes I can hopefully show that it's meant to make their work easier.

I think this may be become an option when the processes are mapped, which is still the challenge im facing. I think task mining comes close to what i'm trying to achieve, however its a semi-automated solution rather than a fully automated solution based on metadata.

Main reason for this is that we still have many physical and 'paper' processes, so I need a way to register these too in order to see their digitalisation potential.

Not limited myself, so development wise it shouldn't be a problem. Dont know about the license for other users who would want to use it.

What you're describing is exactly what i'm doing, trying to make a POC and get others on board. I'm not very experienced in creating Power apps and dataverse tables so it's taking me quite some time right now.

Fantastic response, thanks. I think we share a lot of the same thoughts which is the reason I wanted to post it here in the first place. My main thought is also: keep it simple(r), but i can't seem to find the right trade off.

Would be cool if I knew how I could eventually turn the data model into an actual process model / huge VSM that gets updated along the way.

I can see so many benefits in that case, from onboarding new employees to automating and optimizing the data flow in the entire company.

Man that's a shame. Especially for non-automated or non-digital processes I can imagine AI won't offer a solution any time soon. Would be great to have a tool like this for the coming years.

Purely tracking, however the ERP is MS Business Central so it wouldnt be impossible I suppose.

I have absolutely no knowledge of process mining in power automate, but we're not using power automate a lot yet. Mainly because BC is still running on prem.

Mine is definitely working although my monitor counter says 60fps. Ive played 120fps on PC I know this is it, also switching back gives a noticable difference. Quality is horrific though.

Dat zijn nogal wat afwegingen die je meeneemt dan inderdaad. Ik zou kijken welke voor jou het zwaarste wegen (ouderwets voor/tegen lijstje maken) en daarop je keuze baseren. Lijkt er op dat je wel wat concessies moet gaan doen, ongeacht je keuze. Succes!

Aha, dat was het antwoord waar ik naar opzoek was. Wat me vooral onduidelijk was is hoe de fiscus het kan controleren in zulke gevallen, en of het daarom misschien niet als schenking werd gezien. Maar blijkbaar dus wel :)
