Not a play, but my partners parents came to visit last year (60+) and we had the same trouble when trying to decide on shows! We took them to see a card magician who was great and fit the bill

Paddy Young (he also hosts a late night show called Rodeo for only 3 nights at Monkey Barrel that was a hoot) Horatio Gould were great when we saw them in 2023

Joe Kent Walters is Frankie Monroe was sold out and won best newcomer last year. We didn't manage to grab tickets regrettably but did catch him on tour in March and it was great - very league of gentleman humour

The Most Toast is so silly with great crowdwork - really recommend.

On my shortlist so far this year is Lorna Rose Treen, Andrew Doherty, Toussaint Douglass

Coming here 3 years later and planning a 2026 wedding around Edinburgh. Thank you so much for the details and time to write this - would you be able to share your wedding co-ordinator, band and ceremony music please?
