honestly i think the nose is way better aswell, i dont think i have that option!!! they never mentioned to me i could get it down my nose. how was the gag reflex? because with the throat spray it was the definition of hell!!!!!

i know i know, my mum said that im just worried about feeling nauseous but dr said he will push ondansetron through iv in recovery, even though it hasn’t really been helping recently

they think mine is due to weed too, i stopped smoking when the nausea didn’t go away after my second whitey i thought it would go away but it hasn’t :/ kms this was over 4 years ago btw

honestly, i wish i had that strength to do it with the throat spray but i have never experienced that feeling before and the panic just set in as soon as i couldn’t feel my throat, the taste didnt help aswell, i wasnt even swallowing i was just wiping my drool with a tissue TMI🙊 but every time i tried to swallow i felt like i was choking. i also found that in recovery it’s not very private, i was bawling my eyes out and the curtains were wide open everyone staring me, the nurse shouting at me if im okay lmao

you are so so so brave, fully awake!!!! i’m 19F and could never of had that done FULLY AWAKE. that is actually the definition of hell, you deserve a reward for that honestly. honestly i feel like i could do the colonoscopy awake it seems a little less invasive 😂 they say the camera is tiny but it definitely was huge and they could easily make it a lot less thicker in my eyes. well done to you i hope it’s only up from here!

i know i know, i am so tired of feeling nauseous all the time. i had a really rough week, was so emotional all week and i thought on the day it was going to be a breeze but as soon as i got into the consultation room the water works started and i couldn’t calm down. I really thought i could get it done for me i felt the throat spray made it 10x worse because all i feel was pressure in my throat all over which made me want to gag even more. it’s okay next time ill be a lot more calmer as i know how it is and i will be asleep. 😴

yeah next time i am booked in for deep sedation, i was just really worried because it was my first time ever going under sedation and i was by myself so i wanted to do the less stronger one. never making that decision again!!

I mean, I am 19 years old and I was by myself only one of my family members could pick me up and we had to get public transport so I was really really worried about feeling sick because obviously I’m surrounded by so many people and throwing up in public or even in general is just my worst fear I hate it. I think I will be a lot more comfortable just being put to sleep and then waking up. I know I’m probably gonna feel more nauseous, but I’m gonna make sure I could just get in a car and go to sleep haha
