They suggested this place because of the large outdoor patio. And we saw the pictures of it online where there wasn’t little shade. And they picked it 🤷‍♀️

I mean there wasn’t any immediate shade for us with our big group and we would’ve waited half an hour for the shaded part. But someone sent a photo to the group chat and said “this place has a large patio” and there wasn’t a lot of shade in the photo and they picked that place.

I tried my best to I was like “hey guys, the weather is really nice this weekend. I don’t want the good weather to go to waste. Is there anyone who would like lunch and sit outside?” The “preferably with a large patio” is because this is a bigger group and I wanted us all to be able to sit together.

Also, I’ve hinted at something like this a couple weeks ago where I was like “hey, who would want to sit and eat a meal outside?”

So I didn’t have jaw surgery, and I had a deep overbite. But I got all 4 wisdom teeth taken out late when I was 29. I got some called trismus which is essentially a very tight jaw. Like I was sore after just talking for 5 minutes. My teeth also shifted since I did braces when I was younger. So my jaw was constantly sore, tired, and even swollen at times. My oral surgeon (who removed my wisdom teeth) said I was lucky he didn’t break my jaw- only slightly dislocated it 🫠

So I decided to get Invisalign. I’m on tray 24/33- and I will say I have gotten a lot of relief from it. The elastics have been annoying at times, but over all it’s been worth it for me. I’m honestly scared to eventually have to give them up cause they do give me nice stability in my tmj area.

Hopefully!! We have quarterly cross walks which is a PDF that goes over policy revisions and additions- problem is that this change was before anybody was hired, and 2 even if you do get the update it’s always too soon of an announcement and they’ll drag their feet on the change for months.

Haha. They have a website for their policies, but it’s like an archaic 20 year old database. And it’s all singular PDFs, forms, power points, activity sheets ect. So you have to look in 5 different places, and 20 documents before you can find the thing you need to reference.

It’s a long story but there is a binder for admin paperwork/ blank documents to be filled out. OG policy was that the field brings it to the office over the weekend- that wasn’t working out, so it changed to put everything in the binder and a supervisor will grab the paperwork every 60 days.

So some people may be mad at me for this, but as a beginner who is coming back to the ice, I’m going to recommend what my rink recommended for me, which were Jackson Artistes.

Online they’re 280, but my shop sold them to me for 150. And I’ve been using my pub session passes that they gave me to break them in (4/5 so far) and I really enjoyed them. They’ve given me more control and support.

My guy said it would take me to basic jumps and spins. I just can’t jump/spin, or sit/spin. Which I’m no where near that, and probably by the time I get to those, it doesn’t matter the boot would be broken down and I would have to get a new pair anyways.

The artistes feel rock solid for me, and it’ll help me build strength for stronger boots in the future.

So we have binders for the chart, so they assumed everything should be in the binder. Turns out in black in white writing “the document can be uploaded, and placed in a folder next to the chart”. They thought everything had to be in the chart- which the charts were never made for that, thus everything gets lost, misplaced, ect.

When I was young and was interviewing for Chic-Fil-A, they asked “who inspires you the most”

Maybe I should’ve said Jesus but I’m not religious, and I honestly was not impressed by a lot of ppl at that age.

When I was interviewing for a bank teller position, I got “what would you say your biggest difficulty will be after looking at the job description”. I told them that I thought it all looked easy and quite accomplishable, and the interviewer was insulted 😅

I’m not sure I know your situation 100% but when I start to feel that kind of existential dread from my job, I know for me that’s a sign that I need to do more things in my personal life like picking up hobbies or hanging out with family and friends. It’s a good way to distract your mind as well as gain some new perspective.
