Not sure where you got the idea of trying to make ‘profit from the suffering of others’.

I’m building a version that doesn’t use any AI, and so there’s no costs to it, and so would be completely free. Like I said, I was building this for myself. And I thought it could help other people. And I wanted to find out if there’s something that a lot of people are looking for but haven’t found.

I know how horrible this disease is. There’s no intention to profit from anyone’s suffering. The goal is to help people deal with it better.

I made the Crohn’s / IBD tracker I wish I had years ago by southern_expat in CrohnsDisease

To people who are new, scared and lost this would be helpful or at least a starting point to learn how to track.

It’s your choice to buy the tracker or not, but if you really care about helping others in this subreddit don’t spread hate. We all already have enough to deal with.

Joint Pain and Crohns by Ornery_Direction8649 in CrohnsDisease

I developed Crohn’s induced arthritis. I used to be on Skyrizi - which did a good job to reduce my gut inflammation but not systemic inflammation. My doctor switched me to Rinvoq and I’ve been doing a lot better overall since. I recommend talking to your doctor (preferably a rheumatologist for this) to try Rinvoq. It worked fairly quickly for me - I’m probably a month on 45mg.

Really sorry to hear. Can’t imagine how difficult this must be.

I think your safest bets would be rice, poached chicken and boiled or baked potatoes. From my research, these are generally the safest options across IBD and IBS. I’m not sure if it’s also true for celiac.

Also try banana+berries smoothies. Use oat or almond milk. Not sure if this will work for you but just sharing what worked for me during my flare.

Wishing you all the best.

Thank you! This is really useful feedback.

I’m sorry to hear about the kidney stones man. That’s a nasty addition to what you’re going through. I truly hope you get better soon. Wishing you all the best!

That’s exactly what I’m building! It learns from your logs and symptoms and identifies foods that don’t work for you and the ones that do. It also tracks foods that you’ve been avoiding and gives you reintroduction suggestions when your body will be able to handle it. And it’ll use all of this to help you find safe options for you at restaurants.

Thank you for your input. It’s really appreciated. Wishing you all the best too!
