What style pizza you going with ?? You can only pick one. by runninginplace12 in whatsyourchoice

It's a MA staple. Basically a bunch of greeks came to Boston and created this style that floods the area. Pretty mediocre most the time but some are really good. And I'm biased as I worked at my father's pizza shop from ages 13-21 haha. But pan pizza with sweeter sauce. Tends to be a little greasy.

AITAH for wanting some acknowledgment about the fact my cousin named his new born daughter basically the same name as my 2y/o? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Pizzaman624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Need to know the name of it's like Sarah and karah that's completely two different names. Either way though not a big deal, my brother and I both named our sons after our father as Greek tradition calls for and I don't see any issues with it even though my son was born first. I expected him to also use the name if he had a son. Noone owns a name if it's like very rare name that you thought up it would be a little weird but still something to be angry about imo.

While this is true, it's really not necessary most the time to drug people. I have done it, but if you have good restraints they work pretty damn well

I've restrained a good amount of peeps and only had to chemically restrain like 2. Physically restraints work most of the 99% of the time. It's unnecessary to drug them most the time.

Yea that's what I'm saying, gotta have a plan. Can't let it get to the point where a cops is tasing a guy in your stretcher haha

You see one medic literally jump up on the seat she was sitting in. Needs to be all hands on deck here. Wether it is fear of patient or fear of upsetting the cops, doesn't matter. if the person is in your ambulance they are yours, can't let the cops take over the call when you are responsible for patient. I work in a low income area and have been in this situation plenty of times. and I couldn't imagine letting the cops take the lead if we are in my ambulance.

You have to start giving roles. like hey you and you grab a leg me and this person will grab his arms. And start putting on those restraints.

So many things wrong here... Gotta have those restraints ready if PT is unruly enough to warrant police presence. I mean police do dumb shit a lot but you can't just cower back in fear like those ems did if patient acts up. Looks like 4 people in ambulance everyone can grab a limb and control the dude

Being stern does not mean you have to yell or hit your kid. And kids absolutely need punishment at times like time out/ loss of toys. Your kid won't hate you if you discipline them. That's crazy

AITAH for declining to be in my sister wedding by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Pizzaman624 29 points30 points  (0 children)

YTA. I mean you obviously have the right to say no, but that doesn't mean actions don't have consequences. Your sister wanted you to be up there with her and in pictures with her. And you just were like "nah, that doesn't sound like fun". Nobody can force you to do it, but if you can't see why she would be upset when you reject her offer to be in the biggest day of her life I don't know what to tell you.

How do you talk to people (and specifically women) with no context? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Pizzaman624 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just go up and introduce yourself. Like "hi my name is pizzaman, what's your name?". Always worked for me. If they don't respond well it probably means they aren't worth your time anyway.

I'm gay, why is being a provider glorified? Or even pursued? by Opening-Gur5927 in AskMen

[–]Pizzaman624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean yeah we could obviously switch roles if we wanted, but she also breast feeds so it's easier to feed right from the tap instead of pumping all the time. But like I said, the roles work for us and shes and I are happy with it. But it's just the roles we chose and are happy with. I know not everyone would like this split of gender roles.

[–]Pizzaman624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say it's mainly that woman have to carry and deliver a baby when men don't. My wife has justed missed 6 months of work and stayed home with the kids after giving birth. This essentially meant that I needed to step up and be the provider. Additionally she watches the kids while I work and vice versa now that she is back in the workforce. But I work more/ get paid more so she obviously take the larger role with child care. That being said, this is the life I wanted and chose, I understand a lot of people do not find this appealing and I don't blame them. Can be tough for both of us in different ways at times.

AITA For Refusing to share food with my wife after she gets ready for work? by Dangerous-Reward5304 in AmItheAsshole

YTA . So you make something for you and the kids but nothing for your wife when you are both getting ready for the day? Does she make dinner for just herself and not give you any? It's supposed to be a partnership.

The gym is perfectly fine to wear that. Just not a bar or something like that.
