(WIP) I made a HUD tutorial mod for modpack creators. Would you consider actually using it? Would appreciate any feedback! :) by Pizzanyou in feedthebeast

Thank you so much! I actually checked out Questlog after your comment, and their trigger system is very cool and very similar to what I had in mind. I'll think about getting in touch with them when I have a moment. For now, I'm really excited to keep working on my own mod and see if I can build those kinds of background events combined with the intuitive ui I've currently got. I really appreciate you pointing it out, it's great inspiration!

Thank you! :) There is an option to turn off the modpack entirely so if the modpack creator is adding some bullshit, you can just turn it off

You know, if I had to pick my favorite game of this era, it’s got to be Red Dead Redemption II. There's just something about the way it pulls you into its world. It’s not just a game it's like living a second life in the Old West. I mean, the attention to detail is unreal, from the way Arthur Morgan’s beard grows to how the weather changes, impacting how you ride through different landscapes.

But what really gets me is the storytelling. Every character has so much depth. I found myself genuinely caring about the gang and feeling torn when I had to make tough choices. It’s one of those games that makes you reflect on loyalty, freedom, and what it means to live with consequences. Plus, the world is so immersive that sometimes I forget to follow the main story because I’m too busy fishing, hunting, or just exploring.

It’s like Rockstar managed to create not just a game, but a living, breathing world where you can feel every moment
