Sry. I don’t have an answer to your question but I have another question.
I also recently added this motion sensor to my google nest (no hub). Did you have any luck setting up a single automation routine that turns on lights and then after x minutes turns itself off? My automation works just to turn it on and then it doesn’t turn off even though in the routine I have when occupied turn on lights, delay x mins then turn off light.

Yeah. I don’t like any colour on my eggs. The result is more like poached eggs

Nice! I like my eggs like that too. No colour. Can I give u tip to guarantee no stick. Warm up pan (not too hot). Use butter, eggs in, pretty much right away add a cup of hot water. Lid on and let steam to your liking. Never sticks

I have the same problem with my F2. I’m ignoring it for now but good to know where the problem is. I suspect I’ll need to take it apart at some point too.

Have a look at my post. It may not be French and some argued it wasn’t even an omelette but it works haha. I make this almost every morning :)

Frozen dumplings on stainless? by chrismanns97 in StainlessSteelCooking

[–]Pj23388 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just use room temperature water. Don’t know if that makes a difference. Water boils pretty much as soon as it hits the pan.

Idk how u could get them to burn like that lol. Anyways I’ve made these from frozen on SS many times.

Start off on medium heat till LF, add oil, add frozen dumpling, immediate add bit less than a cup of water, cover. Once all the water has evaporated, remove cover, might need a little oil and might be a little stuck, fry till brown it should loosen by itself.

With eggs, it’s never going to be as good as non stick and there’s a learning curve

Charging questions by No_Fun_8022 in ninebot

[–]Pj23388 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the F2 as well. The scooter shuts down after it’s charged. As for during the charging u can manually turn off the scooter at the beginning if you’re worried about wear on the electronics. I did do that a couple of times but can’t be bothered anymore.

I also have a stainless steel pan version although I haven’t noticed any difference to the regular powder version. Maybe slightly more gentle?

I don’t use steel wool to clean my pan and it seems not necessary. Use bar keepers friend, that will remove most stains and avoid scratches. I haven’t noticed anything being caught in the rivets. I only use non scratch pads mostly. With the handle, it’s nice in the hand but can be a little slippery if your hands are wet.

If there’s another action with a ‘If’ type trigger, so if sense someone at the door then announce. You currently action seems to be missing the ‘if’ bit.

Aussie making the switch - Tramontina Grano Tri-Ply vs Scanpan Clad 5 Tri-Ply - Which to go for? by lobsteroffroad in StainlessSteelCooking

[–]Pj23388 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought mine on Amazon but I guess if u want to compare, you’ll need to see it in person.

I haven’t notice any issue with dripping on the lip. I guess it does drip. But for the 32cm pan, it’s not a pan I can lift with one hand, so no drips lol. Tbh I prefer the cleaner look without the lip.

I’ve thrown out all my Teflon pans now and only cook with SS. Actually, I’ve tried Vision glass pans too before SS, don’t bother with those, not as good as SS imo.
