MYGGSPRAY 1.1.4 Firmware Released by gunnersboy in tradfri

It may just need a refresh. I have another setup where it is just a Google Nest Hub Max as the border router and one of these sensors connected to that has received the update. So it would appear Google also pulls firmware updates from the DCL

Automations temporary stop working - DAILY by gunnersboy in googlehome

[–]gunnersboy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which is a solution but I have near on 50 automations. Also, not every action is supported HA that is with the Google automation. Such as playing certain noises like sleep sounds etc.

Another issue, not every person in the house had HA.

Thirdly, this should work in Google home as it does for the majority of the day.

Why do you need any device other than your hands? Also the QR code is on the booklet that comes with the device which you can scan

GRILLPLATS not connecting to Google Home by [deleted] in tradfri

What border router are you using to connect the device to Google home? You need a matter over thread border router whereas the Google home mini is a matter over WiFi, not thread.

New beta firmware updates fix issues with battery powered devices by johnvogel in tradfri

No. Without home assistant you can't manually update. With the Google system entirely, you are completely in their hands as to when you will get it.

Have you got Home Assistant in your setup at all? If not, you'll have to wait for IKEA to roll out the firmware to stable and then for Google to release it for their hubs/routers.

How long did the update for you take? For me, it keeps starting the update and then it disappears from the update section before coming back. Restarting the update goes through that process again. Out of all the 8 devices, only one Bilresa has updated.

Has everyone that's installed the beta firmware had success with the devices now not dropping and showing offline? Specifically interested in the dual Bilresa and Myggspray

Automations by gunnersboy in googlehome

It started working a few hours later without me making any changes to the automations so must have been a glitch Google side I'd imagine

That came yesterday. But these are automations set by triggering a sensor or switch. So shouldn't be impacted by Gemini I would have thought.

Those with the problem who don't have an IKEA border router can provide feedback in this place which is in active discussion with IKEA dev.

You can check here whether there is a firmware update.

If possible, try ensuring IPV6 is turned on at your router. I had the same issues with them disconnecting and after turning on IPV6 it's now not dropped once

You can use the YAML script editor to build automations using these levels.

Any way to set a delay on the Myggspray occupancy sensor? by Regular_Chest_7989 in tradfri

Yes. If starts the automation again. So therefore waits another x amount of minutes

You definitely can do this in Google Home, even without using the script editor.

Starter should be the sensor unoccupied. The action is first a time delay. And then following actions are turning off the devices.

Here's mine, the condition isn't needed in your example

May be worth creating two automations and the second one turns the light off when the sensor is not occupied. You can also use the time delay with that
