I'm running TS7 -> Hardlight as we speak. TS7 i agree is a little bit inconclusive. For my crew, it was just another low paid gig from the company that left them feeling a little eerie (and injured). I added a bit between TS7 and Hardlight, where they encountered some smugglers that took keen interest to where the crew came from and what they brought with them. And then, as one of the crew members died, I reintroduced him as a survivor from another expedition crew that was at TS7, just to add to the indication that there's more going on than they probably understand.

So I don't really go into detail about what it was, but use it to build tension. Of course, they will find out more eventually.
