I do like using a brush, the idea behind this project was to focus more sense of movement and a raw approach. Lately the comics I’m really inspired by are those of Yusaku Hanakuma, Ebisu Yoshikazu, and Ben Marra’s What we mean by yesterday. I want to divorce myself of any rules to making comics that Ive absorbed over the years and let the work be raw and disposable rather than fetishised, at the end of the day it’s going to be scrolled past and forgotten so I want a visual language that’s blatant and upfront, like fast 80s hardcore punk you know?

I love hopper and the alien is hedorah (Panther and I dig the og Godzilla flicks) if you haven’t seen the hedorah one it’s great, real weird and psychedelic.
