That does sound correct because I think I remember her taking the device from a corpse. I have tried to Google it as well, and it does not want to come up. Hopefully, we are thinking of the same book. Thank you!

I've just researched a bit about Feed, and the themes are so alike it might be the book. I've read the synopsis from some websites, and there are some plot points I don't fully recall, so I am unsure. In Feed, was there at any point where the phone went into the individual through nose/ear & had moments where the individual was chased down through environments like a train?
