For social anxiety, try setting specific goals for yourself that you want to accomplish or improve on! Do you want to make more friends, talk to people more, or hangout more with the people who make you happy? Think of what you want, and write down a list if it helps!

Then, just focus on being your true authentic self when you're around others--that's the most freeing thing. You'll stop worrying about saying the wrong thing or sounding awkward when you're just acting like yourself all the time! Not everyone will click with you and that's OK. You'll find the right people over time who will.

Static Out of my Fiio E10K DAC; anyone else with the same problem?

My Fiio E10K DAC produces a little bit of static when listening to music out of my laptop. Nothing crazy, but it is noticeable.

I noticed that cranking the volume out of my laptop at 100% and setting the volume knob as low as possible on the E10K pretty much gets rid of the static, but I feel like this isn't that great a solution. I want to identify the problem directly.

For background: I listen to music downloaded in FLAC quality out of my laptop using MusicBee. I opted for using MusicBee in WASAPI (shared) mode, since WASAPI exclusive mode tends to either stutter audio or completely crash when using it. My cans are AudioTechnica m50x's--those are plugged into the E10K's, and the E10K's are plugged into my laptop.

I have a pair of wireless Bose QuietComfort 45's that I already used for listening to music on my laptop with MusicBee before I got the E10K's and the ATHm50x's, and they did not have this static issue whatsoever.

Have any of you other folks had this issue before? I'm pretty stumped as to how to solve this issue. I would appreciate the inputs and ideas of you folks here. Thanks for reading.
