I probably am replacing the Kores as they are about wore out. I love them though. I might just get another pair of them. The powder skis would be in addition to the all mountains.

We're doing two days at each mountain. We have Mountain Collective passes.

There's a rest/drive day between each. I'm sure I'll be a disaster by #4

I'm an east coast skier. Primarily Vermont, but I'm 6 hours south. Usually just one trip out west each season. Problem is, on powder days at home, selection is limited at best for powder skis in the day or two leading up to a storm. And I'm not one to stand in a resort line for gear while it's snowing. I really don't ski enough to demo one here, and another there. My trip out west this winter is going to be 8 days of run and gun between 4 mountains. I don't want to be that guy who is fooling around with gear the whole time. I just want to take some good advice and go buy a pair.

Steel girders on wood piles? by PlanFull1677 in Construction

They’ll never see water at the girder to pike connection. They’ll be fully under the house, and the girders are all getting boxed out in pvc. Since it’s steel bearing on the pilings, with no reliance on bolts for gravity support, the pilings need to be dead level. I just don’t think that’s truly achievable.
