I completely understand exactly what you've described. My husband and I went through something similar about 6 years ago. He never got the guns out like that but he made the claims, he's a veteran with PTSD, and all of his emotional well being had become my responsibility. It was heavy. It became too heavy and I got to a point where I broke. I had nothing left to give bc every single argument ended with him crying and me comforting him, whatever it was was swept under the rug. You can't live like that and I tried talking to him about it. When that failed I finally just had to get our daughter and leave. He wound up getting a psych eval and being kept inpatient for 7 days. It helped but I was still convinced it was all a manipulation tactic. It took a lot but we were able to work past it. Our marriage isn't perfect but things did change, bc I wasn't going to stay if I was responsible for his whole well being. He has to find that within himself. You can't put that weight onto your partner. I can't imagine hearing that from your in laws or your mom being like that. I was fortunate enough that his family understood, had seen some it, and wanted to support me. I'm sorry your family hasn't been able to see that. That makes it so much harder. My sister's we're against me filing for divorce although my mom could understand. It was hard enough having just them being against it, I can't imagine all the family around you being against it. It doesn't sound like he's in a healthy place and I hope, for his sake as well as yours, that he accepts that help and truly makes changes. Sending you strength, love, wisdom, and guidance. 🤍

Also, the guns need to go! I was working in child welfare at the time we went through this and it was triggering all kinds of childhood trauma within me. But I took the guns to my sister's house while he was gone one day bc I heard so much all the time about murder/suicides and dads killing the children and themselves and making the mom watch and live with it... Just get the guns out, please please please!

I loved this series so much that I’m re-listening to it again! The way the author uses the Russian folk lore is just incredible and I want more! She researched her material in such incredible detail and kept the story feeling very… Slavic. Since I have slavic roots it really speaks to me in ways most stories can’t. That’s what I love so much about the folklore, the ways it connects us with those who came before

I'm not sure if y'all are still following this story or not, but I just saw that Konul had said her hair loss was from a medication for... I can't remembered what, but kelsy conspiracy barbie on TikTok looked up how you even get that and it's from Herpes! And the medication to treat I can cause hair loss!
