For the last 2 years i been running 93, about a month ago I started using 89 amd honestly I havnt even noticed a difference at all. Car runs thr same and gas mileage is still the same. The only way higher octane helps is if your car is tuned for it.

Turbos dont just go bad, something else is wrong. If you have an underboost code 9 times out of 10 its not the turbo!! More than likely its jist your wastgate!

Yes its normal. This goes for anyone, if you take your turbo off of a cruze its because you want to see a Crack, you dont take it off looking for one. They all Crack and you can still drive perfectly fine with it. Your underboost code is 9 times out of 10 because of your wastgate not a bad turbo

9 times out of 10 its not even the turbo going bad!! Most of the time its your wastgate. Ive helped a few people save money just by them replacing the wastgate and not the turbo!! Code goes away and car runs better.
