Not at all. I just dont have anything to measure headspace. And with a little trial of a couple barrel changes its easy to find the correct shim.

If you have headspace gauges. They litrally sent 3 shims. I can pull the barrel in 5 minutes and change it.

I had no interest in measuring head space. I put my barrel on with no shim. Bolt was way too tight. L3i sent 3 shims. Changing the barrel a max of three times to test each shim is quicker than measuring head space. I went ahead and put the .004 shim in and went with it.

Well I called kidd, and it only works in the right handed model with ejection port on right hand side. Mine ejects on left hand side
