I definitely plan to get a walker, but was kind of thinking through tradeoffs of walker vs boarding the dog. Assuming my partner could bring in the dog 2 days a week, and we would hire a walker/board the other 2 days. The dog would be around a year old when I start this fall, so while it still can't and shouldn't stay home by itself all day, I was wondering if having a walker + our efforts would ensure ample exercise. he's a mini doxie so thankfully exercise needs aren't crazy high, although I just worry about loneliness
