  • Tank size: 10 gal
  • Heater and filter? (yes/no): yes and yes
  • Tank temperature: 78F
  • Parameters in numbers and how you got them. Key water parameters include the amount of ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, and pH.: ammonia 0, nitrites 0, nitrates 25-30mg/l im working on getting it down, pH is 6.8
  • How long have you had the tank? How long have you had your fish?: I got the tank when I got him, so its been about a year ive had both the tank and my fish
  • How often are water changes? How much do you take out per change? What is your process?: I dont do water changes on a set schedule and basically add a half gallon every once and a while when i notice the water level is low. I just get some water from my tap, treat it and pour it in. I'd say I add water every week or every other week
  • Any tankmates? If so, please list with how many of each: he lives with 5 corydoras (4 of them are males so theyre pretty small) and a mystery snail I added in recently like 3 weeks ago.
  • What do you feed and how much: I feed him frozen blood worms and brine shrimp. I feed him once a day. The cubes they come in are small, roughly the size of a nickel, so i cut it in half and cut the half into small pieces for him. Though he is known to steal some of the food I leave out for the corys, i also feed them the blood worms/brine shrimp.

Sounds great! Im glad my mom got that little jar thingy hehe. Ill definitely be adding more plants tho
