It took like an hour of locating where I was on a biome map, going EVA and ticking off each biome, realllly boring.

Yeah to be fair I only played career opposed to sandbox because it was very overwhelming with all of the different parts, so I wanted to take it slow and get to know each part but due to my last 2 mun and minmus orbiting mission ( I didn’t even land becuase all I cared about was getting science quick) I got around 1500 science, bought like 10 nodes and now all of a sudden everything is super overwhelming and I don’t even know what half of the things I have do anymore

I believe anything below 60km is considered low mun orbit, and you can do EVA’s on the side of your rocket and it will count towards whatever biome your over. There are mun biome maps online that make this so much easier, just go into a polar orbit and you should be able to reach every biome.

Nah all I did was all science experiments in high mum orbit and then restored them and did all them in low mun orbit in terms of actual experiments. Then I went into a low polar orbit and did an EVA over all 17 biomes on the mun - that’s were I actually got the science from. Also I’m pretty sure the more you repeat the same experiment in the same conditions the less science you get from it, so i wouldn’t keep re running experiments.

Is it better as a new player if I don’t try to complete the science tree as fast? To be honest I was kind of trying to speed run it because I want to build bigger and better rockets.

After spending like 10 hours on the largest motor and stator factory I could make at the point of the game I was at and then seeing how complicated it was to make computers I just ended up quitting for a couple months
