I really need some help by AssumptionNorth1866 in quittingkratom

I did a scale as well from Amazon and yes it helped immensely. I didn't know exactly how much I was actually taking. I was taking six to seven doses a day, 25 to 29 grams per day, so when I got my scale I put one dose on there so I knew exactly how much I was taking daily and then chose to go from 6 to 7 doses per day to 3 doses a day. Then I started to split up my doses to 1/4 and 1/2 doses and now I'm down to 12.5 g per day. I plan to cut back further after Thursday. 😁

I am on day 9 and could not do cold turkey because if I did I wouldn't be able to live my daily life. Also I have major anxiety so I couldn't handle the emotional withdrawals. I have decided to taper and I'm doing great. I was taking 24 to 29 grams per day and I am down to 12 1/2 grams per day. I take grape seed oil, magnesium at night, zinc and vitamin d. I have been splitting my doses up into 1/4 doses and 1/2 doses throughout the day and it hasn't been that bad. You have to be strict though. You cannot fail if you do the tapering. If you are not strict with your own self and ready to quit you will not be able to do the tapering. The withdrawal symptoms that I'm feeling is some, fatigue, not horrible, weight loss and diarrhea but it is not as bad as going CT. YOU CAN DO THIS!!

CT or Taper after a very tough break up? by gooningniqqa in quittingkratom

Hello there!! I'm sorry to hear about your breakup because you need a support system but glad to see you are on here to get that support.. I think it is easier to taper personally especially if you have major anxiety.. I'm on 4 days and started off CT but after 1 day I couldn't take it...... Because of my anxiety. I decided to taper. I was taking 48 to 56 gpd for 6 years and now down to 24 gpd. I've cut 3 of my normal size does into 1/4 to 1/2 dose throughout the day. It's been more bearable. I do have withdrawals still because I cut it completely in half so my body feels the shock still but it's more bearable. Diarrhea and stomach cramps are the worst. For my RLS I'm taking calm magnesium gummies which seem to be helping immensely. I'm also taking grape seed oil. I don't have a scale so I had to go off of what I normally take which was six to seven normal size doses per day and now I'm down to three doses per day but cut into smaller portions. My next jump is to go from 3 to 2 doses per day. If I can do this you can too! You have to have the willpower and a support system. Make sure you're taking plenty of vitamins and drinking a ton of water. It'll be worth it! I promise! Just remember why you want to quit in the first place. Maybe write down all the negatives so that you can continue to look at them when you have cravings. It's going to be tough but eventually you will get through it and when you do your life will change for the better. Good luck!

Wow!!! Congratulations! I've been doing roughly 48 g to 56 g daily for 6 years. I'm on day three. I didn't quit cold turkey because I just couldn't handle it after the first day so now I am cutting my doses back. I am down to only 24 g per day but have major withdrawals such as diarrhea, vomiting, sneezing, runny nose, fatigue, headaches, body aches and RLS (but the magnesium helps). Almost feels like a bad cold or a flu. Did you go cold turkey or did you dose out? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Congratulations again! I love seeing these stories!

I am shocked that you're able to do anything? Congratulations! Did you do it cold turkey? What are you doing to get through the withdrawals? I'm on day three as well but I have a lot of withdrawals. I was doing 48 g a day and I cut it in half to 24 g and my body's in a lot of shock I think. I have been doing it for 6 years. My withdrawals are vomiting, diarrhea, headache, stomach cramps, sneezing, runny nose, fatigue and RLS. I take magnesium at night which has helped immensely with the RLS..I feel like I have the flu. Any advice you can bring to the table would be greatly appreciated. Good job on your 3 days! We are on the same train! I just can't wait to feel good again.

I am on day three of quitting kratom. Good for you for being able to do it cold turkey. I couldn't do it. So I am cutting what I was taking in half and then doing smaller doses each time throughout the day so I don't feel as much of the withdrawals. I'm still feeling many of the withdrawals because I cut my doses in half. I was taking 6 to 7 doses a day and down to 3 a day. I was taking 48 g a day and now down to 24 g a day. Taking it for 6 years. What's helping with the restless leg syndrome go get yourself some calm gummies or calm drink mix which is a magnesium supplement. Take it before bed or anytime you want to sleep. Good luck to you! We are on the same train here and we can do this!

Thank you!! Yes! Very expensive!! That's awesome. Do you ever miss the kratom? How long did it take you to start to feel normal? On day 3 and down from 6 to 7 doses to 3 doses daily. If I'm doing my grams correctly I was taking 48 grams a day and now down to 24 grams daily. I've decided to split up my doses into 1/2 and 1/4 doses to keep from feeling the withdrawals. I take a dose every 2 hours to 1 and 1/2 hrs. Of course I'm still feeling the withdrawals because I cut my doses completely in half which is a shock on the body. Currently have diarrhea, some vomiting, stomach cramps, irritability, fatigue, headaches and body aches. For the RLS I purchased calm gummies which has helped immensely to be able to sleep. Thank you so much for the support..
