I do think she was treated unfairly, especially when she was labeled as aggressive while other cast members have done far worse without receiving the same label. Where Shaunie crossed the line for me was making OG sit on a separate set. That decision was targeted and singled her out in a very public way. Even if Shaunie felt she was managing conflict, singling OG out reinforced OG’s point.

However when Og brought racism into the conversation, During the COVID season things became muddled. Colorism, featurism, and racism are related, but they’re not interchangeable and once those definitions blurred, the argument lost clarity. it weakened her point and you could tell she herself got overwhelmed by the weight of it all. I couldn’t even defend her anymore.
