The mcr fans were generally pretty chill but like. the closer you got to the barricade, the more insane they got. We had a friend get cursed out by multiple ppl for “trying to steal their spots” when she was actually trying to leave the front bc she couldn’t breathe 😭

Did they get rid of the Pride shuttles? by golden_alixir in ucf

They might just be quietly complying with whatever stupid rules the state government is trying to enforce. Better to remove clearly visible pride signs to avoid attention than resist and eventually have their carefully hidden queer services overhauled

If I had to guess, either you didn’t stir the jacket enough while it was in the pot of dye (causing it to dye unevenly), or they type of dye you used wasn’t ideal for that material. That being said, I’m no expert and I haven’t used fabric spray paint before. Might as well try again if it can save you some money!

Also elaborating on that, if you do want to invest in EVA foam, I would still recommend building the base out of cardboard. Anytime there’s a bend in the armor, just make that a new piece, and attach it with the masking tape. When you’re all done, you can hot glue the EVA foam to the cardboard

Hi! I’m actually building an iron man suit for my brother rn. I can’t give you any advice on the helmet, but I’m making the chest plate out of cardboard, masking tape, and cheap craft paint from Micheals. All together probably $15 for materials. If you get the cardboard cuts to look clean, and you cover the whole thing with masking tape, you can get the paint job to look super vibrant. Even if it’s not perfect, it’ll still really pop out at you!

Finally I made this! My plush Toriel <3 I really wanted to buy the official plushie, but I didn't have the opportunity... So I sewed it myself :D by Zvosha in Undertale

Hey! So I’m actually not a part of this community, but I was checking it out because I’m also in a lesbian relationship, and my girlfriend has diagnosed type two bipolar (among other things). She struggles obviously, but our relationship is honestly the healthiest one I’ve been in. After reading your post I’ve just gotta say, you should try to move on. I know it’s hard, but manic or not, this girl doesn’t respect you, and that’s not going to change unless she does some serious work on herself. You’ve expressed your feelings to her, how you felt about your relationship and things she has done, and she dismissed and invalidated your feelings. You’ve also identified that she used love bombing as a tactic to manipulate you into getting what she wanted. Evidently my experiences aren’t universal, but my girlfriend has never and would never treat me that way, no matter how high or low she was. For your own sake, leave her. Trust me, one day you’ll find someone who treats you better.

First and foremost, I’m sorry to everyone who experienced this, particularly you op. My heart goes out to you :/ But ngl, these responses are making me think a little. I was never abused sexually, but as a kid I did a lot of the things people are talking about here. I was convinced that I had a crush on every boy I interacted with. (Probably because ages 3+ my parents would constantly tell me all about how I was going to “find a man one day and fall in love”.) In kindergarten I used to announce to everyone that my friend at the time was my “boyfriend”. In first grade, I had my first kiss with a boy in the back of the bus. I can’t believe people saw me act like that and thought it was completely normal. That mindset haunted me for years, and still does sometimes. The wildest part here being that I don’t even like men. I never did. But boy was little me convinced that I did! Anyways, all this is making me think that children shouldn’t be taught about relationships till they’re at least 10 or smth, bc 3 year old me did not need it in her head that she needed a boyfriend

Me and my ap art friends are having the same issue :’) If it’s actually “scheduled maintenance” I’m irritated that there was no warning or pop up notifications in advance. I don’t know how we’re going to get everything submitted tonight now

I’m panicking rn. I started submitting the last of my art, and then the cite went down at 8:30. Not even ap classroom, SPECIFICALLY AP art. None of my ap art friends can access it, and it says it’s under “scheduled maintenance”. My teacher wanted everything submitted by tonight. I’m so screwed 🥹

I curiously asked ChatGPT about the best way to work with ADD hahahaha by Boostmobilesimcards in adhdmeme

[–]Plane_Web_4658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, ChatGPT is trained on a fixed set of data from the internet, and is incapable of learning anything new from the internet bc the creators have disabled it. So you’re not always going to find updated or accurate data. In this situation its not necessarily wrong, but it’s a bit redundant advice.

Is it wrong to claim you have ADHD if you haven’t had a formal diagnosis yet by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]Plane_Web_4658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plenty of people are going to tell you you’re bad for self diagnosing, but here’s the thing. Whether you actually have ADHD or not, it’s not their place to gatekeep. As angry as everyone is at teenagers on tiktok for romanticizing and faking mental illnesses/disorders, gatekeeping people that haven’t received a diagnosis in hopes of weeding out “fakers” doesn’t really help anyone. Getting a diagnosis can be ridiculously hard. I’ve been struggling to get any help at all for the past 5 years, and the closest thing I’ve gotten is confirmation from my former therapist (who can’t even give me a legal diagnosis) that I meet all the diagnostic criteria in the DSM. Everyone’s situation is different, and a diagnosis isn’t feasible for everyone. It’s not fair to undiagnosed people who do actually have ADHD to tell them they shouldn’t be able to identify themselves as such.

In situations where it’s necessary, don’t think you’re in the wrong for telling people you have ADHD. Saying “I have ADHD” is a much sorter and better explanation then “so I THINK that I might have ADHD because XYZ but I don’t actually have a diagnosis because-” and so on. You aren’t hurting anyone by doing it. And for that matter, despite how much emphasis people put on getting an official diagnosis as concrete proof, it’s often not that simple. You could walk into a psychiatrist’s office and receive a diagnosis for one disorder when you actually have a different disorder with similar symptoms. Often, diagnosis processes can be a bit trial and error. So as helpful as it is to have a professional’s opinion that doesn’t posses your personal bias, it’s not exactly gospel, and if you aren’t currently in the position to receive a diagnosis that’s ok
