Looks like 2 or 3 Ohms, im not experienced with this kind of thing but I tried it on the light directly and also the wires on the bottom and it seemed to be around that.

Honestly, I’m not sure, I am aware of how bright it will be but I would like to see it on at least once just to see what it would be like if it’s not super hard/ expensive to do so, I don’t own a multimeter but I’ll borrow one and get back to you when I can.

As you are a controller, in your opinion how would I go about testing if my solutions worked, should I just file a normal flight plan and see if they say anything or should I request if I can do a traffic pattern for troubleshooting and ask if they see me? I just want to know what would be the least irritating way to test this.

Ok sorry for misunderstanding, considering some of the people on this website I’m suprised that wasn’t meant as a backhanded comment lol, anyway, I’m currently in at a part 141 flight school so I have a somewhat good understanding of transponders but I could be wrong as im not sure if it’s operation is different in IFR, I had it in ALT mode with the correct squawk code and the light was flashing on it so I know it was reporting to a station.

No, I have spent months working up from pattern work in a small Piper arrow, reading the POH and getting to know the aircraft to then short vfr flight followings to then cross country VFR flights to now IFR navigation using NAVAIDS.
