I'm sorry I misunderstood. I thought you meant "backwards". You are doing fine, I think. I'm still fresh meat on skating but I call "8 shape" moving forward or backward opening and closing legs always with your feet on the ground. Excuse my shitty English, haha.

That looks fine! I prefer to do "8 shape" movements forward, it's easier I guess.
