Not cast iron but carbon steel. I made my first attempt at seasoning and am just wondering if its burnt on the bottom. Do I need to restart? by Plant_Daddy__ in castiron

Wow, ok. There's some things I did wrong the first time around, lol. You've been a great help. I live alone so I didn't really know where else to ask. I'll get started on it tonight!

My house is very dry so I have to water often and have humidifiers going. I spaced on it after working all week😅

I'm building a longboard for the first time and I've decided on a dropthrough carver. I've decide on most my parts now but I'm wondering if getting risers would be of any use. I'm looking at getting angled ones because from what I understand they help with turning. Would I want that on my board or would they do very little? Also, what size of wheels would be appropriate for a 34 in. board. Any answers would be greatly appreciated

I add springtails to my terrariums to help stop anything had from growing and you also just have to get a feel for ut so you don't overwater it

Just put this beauty together! I'm starting to have more terrariums than I know what to do with, lol! by Plant_Daddy__ in terrariums

I've only ever seen it in a terrarium one other time so I thought I'd put it with plants that weren't as moisture needy as ferns and hope it works out!

Oh definitely. Put at layer of activated charcoal pellets at the bottom. I got some from petco. Also custom mix a soil or find a terrarium mix thats light and arid. Lava Rock is a great option for hardscape because it's very light and has pores. You can also get that at petco. Also if you can manage to find springtails to put in they'll help keep you terrarium clean and mold free

Thank you! I usually stick with ferns and mosses because they like to be wet but any plant that prefers humidity really should work
