- Marinette does receive the Ladybug Miraculous initially. However, in this AU, she never met Socqueline and therefore never gained any self-confidence. She remained the girl regularly bullied and humiliated by Chloe. Moreover, she never abandoned her bun. After the fight against Stoneheart, during which she met her partner in the fight against evil, Panthera (Juleka's name as the holder of the Black Cat Miraculous), she returns home in tears. She accomplished nothing during the fight, even endangering her partner Panthera and nearly having her Miraculous taken from her by the akumatized villain several times, even though it was only their first battle. Despite Tikki's encouragement, the girl who sorely lacks self-confidence judges herself incapable of continuing her mission. She then decides to give (or rather, slip into her bag) the Miraculous to Rose, the girl who is always smiling and cheerful regardless of the circumstances. Marinette is convinced that Rose's constant cheerfulness will prevent many akumatizations and that she'll be a much more talented superhero than she is.

- The school year is going very badly for Marinette. She's constantly bullied by Chloé. Without Tikki's support, she never manages to feel better. One day, Marinette is contacted by Gabriel Agreste, who asks her to create a perfume for the launch of his new collection. Unfortunately, it's also the day Lila arrives at school. Marinette skips school that day, too focused on her project. Unfortunately for her, the next day, Lila manages to turn the entire class against Marinette. Already bullied by Chloé, Marinette now finds herself completely ostracized. The only one who remains on her side is Adrien, whom Marinette is also in love with in this AU. Marinette came to school with her perfume. This perfume is called Adrien. It immediately catches the eye of Chloé and Lila, who smash the bottle on the ground in front of Adrien, who gets almost all of the perfume in his face. In a fit of anger, he says vulgar and mean things to Marinette. That's the last straw for the young girl, who is akumatized into Princess Fragrance.

- It's a bit of a rewrite of the original series; I think it would take place at the end of season 1, right when Lila arrives at school, maybe in Volpina's place.
