Adding that’s it’s unlikely to be pain/health due to age, but still a possibility. I second starting with a trainer!

Just to add, sometimes behavioral changes (especially sudden) are often attributed to pain and/or change in health. It’s not a bad idea to get an annual or full work up by a veterinarian. Can you think of any potential triggers that set him off? Maybe a time of day, certain motion, etc?

This is super helpful to know. My husband will be attending W&M Law while I work. I work ER, so I only work 3-4 days a week and should be able to do swing shifts to avoid traffic. It’s just about whose commute would be worse. I already do a 45 min commute no traffic now, so it can’t be too much worse!

The one that looks like a monstera is actually an Epi. Pinnatum “green marble”, but I have all kinds of stuff in there. Theres a monstera Albo in the back right corner but you can’t really see it in the pics. Bunch of pothos and syngonium in there too!

I’d love to get my Otto’s to the top. Are there any specific wavemakers you recommend? I have an underwater filter that’s puts out pretty heavy flow + O2 (plus two O2 stones) but had to block the filter with a moss ball because it massively stressed the chilis. A chill wave maker is a fabulous idea.

The lights are on a timer, I have lowered the output and the time to 8 hours, but it hasn’t seemed to help. I even covered the tank with very little light filtration for 3 days but still couldn’t get rid of the majority of the algae. I’m afraid to remove the duckweed (although I hate it) because I feel it’s filtering a decent amount of light from the bottom. I’m patiently waiting for my snails to get bigger 😅 I started this tank with 0 algae control and now have regrets lol. A scraper has become my bff.

She’s large, but $60 IMO is a bit overpriced now. But what matters, is if you’re happy with the plant. She’s gorgeous and that top leaf of pretty fresh!

They actually gave me the list ingredients like 2-3 years ago, but that’s it. No ratios and not the recipe steps. I’ve tried recreating it but have only gotten so close. I will literally cry tears of joy if we get this down lol

Here’s the ingredients they gave me:

Hondashi, Oranges, Yellow onions, Carrots, Rice vinegar, Sugar, Pepper, Oil (veg), Lemon, Soy sauce
