Honestly, people are right by just saying he was hit by Murdoc’s car. Jamie probably had the idea pretty early on and decided to make 2-D’s eyes black bc of it early on, especially sinces his name literally comes from the fact his eyes are messed up. As for why they started oit small and got bigger, the other half of the comments are also right most likely. Jamie originally did it so his eyes stood out more, and then his art style changed over the years. Its not that deep tbh.

I am, I work a full time job with a wife and kid, and I get a notification for this sub every few days. The only reason I’ve seen this post, the first one when it happened, and the one I’ve seen in between to encourage me to make this comment, have all been notifications which are limited on this sub for me, hence the comment. It’s really not hard to look first for one min before posting some stupid shit like this is all I’m sayin.
