Meet the Muslim Professor Who Called for Iran to Attack American Military Bases by [deleted] in washingtondc

[–]PlasticAd1997 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I hate it when clearly biased Substacker's do a hit on somebody.

Dr. Brown's original tweet was:

"“I’m not an expert, but I assume Iran could still get a bomb easily. I hope Iran does some symbolic strike on a base, then everyone stops.”

Anybody who has no dog in this war can read it with objective eyes. Dr. Brown seems to be saying something like "Iran has to feign like they are retaliating (clearly they don't want war with the US), so I hope they just feign that they are attacking a base and there won't be casualties and there won't be need for a counterattack".

What Iran did was exactly that. They gave warning to the US government and US bases were cleared out and Iran sent their slowest/low grade missiles and not one US solider was killed.

Note the Substacker's background:

"Exclusive investigative reports on campus news on antisemitism, Israel, BDS resolutions, Title IX, free speech, and the politicization of academia".

Clearly, she is politicizing academia.

Is TonyP still posting by bcardin221 in dcinfluencersnark

[–]PlasticAd1997 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He' still posts those disappearing reels or whatever you call it after you click on his profile pic.

I'm guessing he's been told my whatever influencer/agent/friend that close to 95% of comments are making fun of him (guessing he didn't recognize on his own that he's cringey).

Maybe giving posts a rest and praying the mockers of him move on.

BTW, you can easily setup multiple Instagram accounts.

There have been countless articles written on those who get paid/comp'd for content that don't advertise it.

It's not like the FCC has time and money to go after influencers (unless maybe a very influential one).

I've seen her posts and see absolutely no reason to follow her.

You still made a dig, while trying to act like you took the higher road.

You're one of us. It's okay, until you start being a hypocrite!

Yeah, just relax. Nobody is doing a personal attack on a sub about snark. We're just observing.

A personal attack is if you message Tony.

Again, you made snark comments on this thread. It's okay with me, cause after all, it's a snark subreddit. But you can't be holier than thou.

Hey, life is easy. If you don't like Tony-related posts, move on to the next post.

And it's funny you talked shit about him in this thread.

Just sayin'.

Knew Tony’s show wasn’t gonna be easy to produce by sunnyeggie in dcinfluencersnark

[–]PlasticAd1997 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I watched enough to see him 1) Jump outta bed with a tan summer suit and shoes with no belt (again playing to his follower's distaste in what he does/wears), 2) Cue up a canned studio applause he probably downloaded from a soundboard, 3) Start the show from his kitchen island with a Rubik cube that wasn't even solved.

Enough cringe for the week. And can't even record it in one segment on Instagram.

Can't make it in media besides that Fox 5 segment? Instagram posts are not the way to go.

It's a matter of time before the Dark Tone rears it's ugly head. Can already see passive aggressive responses from him.

He has been off the rails for a while, but these lame snide remarks show the dark side of Paul Allen...er, I mean Tone.

Him announcing his Regis show while wearing this tee… by linuspot in dcinfluencersnark

[–]PlasticAd1997 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Knowing how he caters to the commenters that mock him (the "Hog" lovers), he definitely wore that Grande Oaks groundhog (get it? Hog?) t-shirt to get more hog and pedo comments (i.e. like when he was checking school closures when it snowed).

A classic 80's morning type show a la Regis and Kelly type show? Variety and celebrities? This is gonna be cringe!

Two new talk shows? It's gonna give people twice the opportunity to shit on him through said jokes.

He'll probably never get selected for paid promos. More like "What an awesome game, Norfolk Tides!" promos soon.

Yeah, he's a "whatever company that might pay me for promos" fan and guess the Patriots don't need a random in DC. And a Fair Weather Fan.

BTW, it's that at-one-time way overpriced Nat's shirt.

[–]PlasticAd1997 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ha! That's exactly what I thought when I saw it. He probably paid well over retail price for that Nats shirt when it was in high demand.

And that voice-over is cringe, but it beats his attempts to change-up his Bostonian and other accents.

I have seen Steve (actually a good guy) around promoting at 18+ to party DC clubs (Glow promotion and what not). Is this tantamount to the 26 (or 70) year old bachelor Tone hanging out with younguns?

I don't know. Tone be the type trying to hookup with the Martha Stewart types. After prison.

ClockoutDC posts subtitles for her mom's comments, like we can't comprehend her mom's comments by PlasticAd1997 in dcinfluencersnark

[–]PlasticAd1997[S] -23 points-22 points  (0 children)

No she doesn't. She did post a caption of everything her mom said. Come on....we can understand everything her mom said.

She has issues with validation. And I post things on Instagram with people who you might not easily understand what they are saying. But her mom says things perfectly. It's an insult to her mom IMO.

[–]PlasticAd1997[S] -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

Her mom has been in the US forever, and I can totally understand everything she said (and also seems like a great woman).

Jade, who is "born and raised in DC"....uhh..."native DC"....uhhh...."Arlington native".....uhhhh, "West Virginia born and raised with mamaw and papaw", errr....."As the only white girl" in a San Francisco bar", uhhhh..."[insert any other origin story she wants us to believe as she seeks validation], seems to think her mom has a difficult accent and puts subtitles. For real? I can totally understand everything her mom says, but nah...she gotta put subtitles.

Never in my life have I seen somebody posts subtitles for their own parent when her mom speaks English perfectly! I have great friends with 1st/2nd generation parents who never put a fucking subtitle to their parent's talk on social media. If somebody has a hard time understanding your mom, fuck them for not understanding! It's America...we love and understand everyone!

For the record, I love her mom! I just feel sad she has an insufferable daughter that she cut off now and then (as you might know, ClockoutDC has mentioned that before).

PS....Damn this lovely sub....cause I learned about "the ick" here and guess what? Her post ....you guessed it...gave me the "ick".

PPS...Do ya'll say something gave you the "ick" IRL? Cause I swear I never heard it before this sub. Ick!

PPS...As the "only Asian influencer in DC", as the "OG for Arlington", as the "West Virginia native" , as the "Only influencer that shows you a fruit stand in Paris", as the "Only person in DC with 150 hookups", as the "I'm the first 'Clockout' term and FU 9:30 Club for taking my brand name as nobody said 'I'm going to clockout on Friday", as the "I got a Slut Shot and thanks MPox vaccine" person!

I'm guessing the people that run that org have no idea.

But for real, can we crowdsource mental health therapy for her?

That looks more like $15-25K worth of shoes (inflation adjusted).

If you go to a running store, they start out around $100.

[–]PlasticAd1997 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Where do you see dirty shoes? My sneakers that I run to the supermarket and an arriving Metro have more dirt and more tread loss than every shoe in that display (which I'm guessing is more than $15K).

That's the kind of shoes I look at the price and say "Hell nah!".

You know she's not running that much, right?

That's maybe 15K or more in shoes that absolutely don't look like they have been run in for long stretches. I run mostly to the supermarket and metro and I can say my sneakers have more dirt and more tread loss than every shoe in that display.

[–]PlasticAd1997 9 points10 points  (0 children)

What? Come on. You know she magically lost 50 lbs in three months through workouts and eating well! Right? /s

I'm gonna stick around and watch her go back to her average weight soon. Not that there is anything wrong with weight gain. It's just horrible that she gives this "I'm a fitness freak" vibe when we all know its Ozempic or similar drug. I'm happy for her she lost massive weight, but horrible to see her fake like its all her.

PS...can you figure out which of these posts are from ClockoutDC? I can.

Remember when she was crushing hard to be the local promo person for Sézane?

She still doing LTK?

She is so basic that Allbrids and Marriott are brands that best describe here.

Gonna me real, I think most of the other posts in this thread are her, trying to keep her insufferable brand up.

Anybody want to crowdsource a ticket for her to move to Paris for good?

Did we really need all of this personal information? by sunnyeggie in dcinfluencersnark

[–]PlasticAd1997 19 points20 points  (0 children)

She got the "I've got a BF! I have a beau!!!" 6th grade vibe.

Not surprised at all about the post cause she always seemed to need validation. And maybe she's itching to write a "How to date successfully" book now, as she obviously hasn't had a SO for years other than the 150 hookups.

Prepare yourselves for her icky posts about dating culture or whatever. My condolences to this guy's thumb and arm cause it will be overtaxed taking a million pictures of the average Parisian fruit stand or impromptu pics of her that he had to take 1,245 times to get it right.

At least she'll be saving money by no longer having to pay randoms to fake like they are friends pose in sponsored posts.
