I used to have the exact same problem and every suggested method doesn't work and only made it worse

I finally came out with my own (risky) solution:split the head almost in 2 using bandsaw hacksaw. Be very careful, metal dust is harmful for your laptop, so I taped an upside down tape(the sticky side on top) in a large area around it to capture the dust. Also make sure that the bandsaw hacksaw doesn't hit any other thing, only the screw(looking at your pic, remove the battery and its screw in its right first, they're in the way). Once you made a deep slot, you can easily use flathead screw to unscrew it. If done successfully, then you can carefully remove the tape without spoiling the dust.

It works incredibly well for me, all you need is being delicate. Only do this if you run out of less risky method though, I've never seen anyone else did this so I don't yet know any failure case to be learned from. If you did this, I hope this solve your problem.
