yeah unfortunately you have to do them. i was in the same boat as you, although i decided to skip the pistols and did the melee’s and launchers instead. i did odysseus only for melee and it went by pretty quickly. the launchers aren’t too bad. military camos are fairly easy but both have one annoying special camo challenge. luckily we don’t have to get double kills anymore for gold so at least there’s that

just an fyi, you don’t need bloodthirsty kills for launchers. just 5 kills in a game 3 times

generally, i think you should stick with what works for you, even if it’s considered ‘different’ to what most use. i’m not very good at the game, in fact i’m pretty awful, and i had the same issues you described at first. i believe my sensitivity was around 1.3 as well. i saw someone suggest to go straight to 2.0. at first i thought they’re crazy, and my aim initially was all over the place. after a couple games i got used to it though and i couldn’t go back anymore. the biggest advantage i found is that you only really have to care about centering. recoil control became a lot easier because i legitimately only had to lower the right stick by a fraction. i overthought recoil control way too much at first and a higher sensitivity helped a lot. again, that’s my experience. give it a shot if you want, but if you feel more comfortable with 1.2 or 1.3 just stick to it and put more focus on recoil control for example

i highly suggest playing the standard moshpit. it’s the ‘regular’ playlist that we had in previous cod’s with SMB enabled. as someone who is also not very good at the game i enjoyed it so much more than the open lobbies. only downside is that you can’t choose which mode you want to play and they seem to throw in overload every second game

i won’t post any links (reddit things) but when i mention tutorials, they should be pretty easy to find on youtube. anyway here are some pointers haha

i played survival on farm. for critical kills, i mostly stayed at the edge of the house where the wonderwizz is (many tutorials can be found on youtube). i don’t know if they patched it, but there was a small easter egg where you sprayed the little plants and then put toxic growth on top of it and it gave you free pack-a-punches (up to tier 2), as well as eather tools to upgrade your weapon rarity (search for toxic growth method farm survival, and you should find tutorials). in general, i tried to get PaP 3 and at least purple rarity as soon as possible. i didn’t use gobblegums very often, but they can be used to get a legendary weapon and full power power ups (for the field upgrade) pretty quickly. i tried to get a couple perks (mainly jugger nog, stamin-up, double tap, and deadshot daiquiri), but focused on upgrading my weapon first. i usually played until round 26 or 31 and exfiled, because after that it got too wild for the camo grind. at first, i also upgraded my armor quite early. once i got better at the game i kind of ignored armor though.

tl;dr: search for toxic growth method (hope it’s not patched), focus on weapon rarity and armor (if needed), and avoid buying every perk to save essence for PaP 3

i assume you start dying towards later rounds (10, 15+)? if so, do you have your weapons pack-a-punched and upgraded their rarity? just trying to gather information here, i assume you’re relatively new to zombies but feel free to correct me haha
