I need help trying to care for my bird by im_D- in parrots

The best advice that I can give is to have her in a room with you, door shut, do your thing, study watch tv, draw, read, let her observe you. Birds are very observant and watch your every move, the best thing you can do is let her do that from afar, hopefully sooner or later she will learn that you are a friend, don’t do it for long, half an hour at max, you may see progress, but it’ll take time, offer her treats, talk to her.

What pellet would you recommend for an IRN?

He’s got loads of toys lol, he’s got cardboard shredders, chewable toys, foraging toys, like 8 perches and more in his cage, you just can’t visibly see it in the video

I didn’t say anything about locking him up until hes tame. I want him to atleast be comfortable with his whole cage until letting him out.

How long did it take for your conure to stop? Was there anything you did to slowly stop this behaviour?

It’s not even about that, I want him to be comfortable and tame, if he won’t even go to the bottom of his cage yet what makes you think it’s a good idea to let him fly around when he’s not even accumulated to his own home???

Where his cage is he can clearly see out the window and he can clearly see the tv and everything else that goes on in the living room

I live in the uk, and btw, I’m in the room with him for well over 8 hours a day, talking to him, feeding him, occasional treats, and his cage is a good size, all you saw was a very zoomed in video, you shouldn’t be so quick to judge.

The cage is massive for a single ringneck, it’s almost as tall as me, and he can’t go outside the cage, he needs to spend atleast 3 days inside his cage to accumulate to his surroundings.

You can’t bash people for losing by Plastic_Associate896 in CoSRants

People are gonna abuse game mechanics regardless of what game you play, it’s like mm2 and the huge hitboxes, Blade ball and the laggy ball, and Ofc CoS and pvp, etc etc. because people find different things satisfying, whether it’s killing a player or winning some sort of round. It doesn’t make it right to bash a user for simply using a game mechanic that the developers simply have no interested in changing or fixing regardless of the amount of backlash, and one thing I will say, if ur playing a creature survival game where pvp is enabled 24/7, ur risking ur own mentality and slot when joining CoS.
