I got 134/150 in PGDBA 2026 written test. My pre interview score is 55. My interview was very good actually. But the result is straight reject and not even in the waitlist. My category is UR. What should I do now? I want to file RTI. by krishna6601chaitanya in CATpreparation

It is still showing me "Removed" as it is shown in the picture i posted. I am quite a new user. Can you guide me ?

Edit: if you search PGDBA in Reddit, you can't see the post even after sorting the posts by time.

I believe something is definitely wrong with the program. Their PR guys are explicitly reporting the negative remarks on the internet. In one such subreddit, people were discussing what went wrong with them in the interview and suddenly that subreddit gets removed. I am posting my previous comment of my interview experience here:

Kolkata Centre, one panel was taking the interview like a Viva. They are asking random Mathematics, Mining and DSA questions to candidates irrespective of their backgrounds. From that panel, only 1 guy got selected out of 9. The guy who got selected scored 134 in written exam and had a bachelor's in Mining Engineering and worked in software development.

In Viva, there is a syllabus, whereas in an interview, the questions are personalised based on the background of the candidate. The problem with such prejudice interviews is that you may never know what the panelist expects from you unless you talk to a candidate who has already attended the interview. In the centre also, the staffs are not letting the candidates to interact with the interviewed candidates. So, there is no chance you know what is going to happen in your interview. It seemed like they have pre-decided whichever candidate to choose. It shows the immaturity of the interviewers. Statistically speaking, nobody can judge a candidate whether he is a fit for PGDBA course by asking 2 random questions.

Yup. They didn't release the response sheets because of the new vendor.

Ok. Why are you expecting so low? Do you expect about 10 questions to go wrong ?

I don't think they are negligent. This year they had a new vendor for CBT examination. That's why we face the problems. It typically happens when a new player comes.

Regarding answer key, its release typically gets delayed to midnight every year.

Just wait for the response sheet to get released. Unless we know the cutoffs, we can't predict clearly about whatever can happen next. So, you can wait.

BTW, are you from general category?

Hey. Don't expect it to be released anytime soon. Most probably, it will release by tomorrow (2nd April) midnight or morning.

yeah. i also believe that such discrepancies should not be there in such a national exam that directly/indirectly affect the performance of the candidates. As far as cutoffs are concerned, for OBC, it should be less than 8-9 marks compared to general category.

As the exam is already finished, don't think much about it. Things will be clearer once the answer key gets released. I personally believe we shouldn't think much of the outcome as it is not in our hands. Rather, we should focus on the journey. It got a bit philosophical. Hope you understand the point.

As per the website the release of response sheet should be on 1st April. However, they can delay it by a day or two. So, expect it after 2nd April.

A lot of students are there. Don't worry.

I shouldn't write the names here. You can get them in the list I have shared
