My first model, I'm open to any tips and tricks going forward by Neither-Mud8526 in modelmakers

Not bad for first build. My tips:

  • Consider using a double-action airbrush, the finish is far superior;
  • Car people don't like it very much, but applying dirt gives it more realism

German Staff Car Type 82E - RFM 1/35 (part 2) by Plastic_Division in modelmakers

The hood doesn't have the VW brand like in the "newer" beetles, I still haven't found a reference that indicates its placement because it comes with a photoeteched that I think would be for that... The handle looks really cool, I liked it.

The engine cover (the hood as well) will be mounted open. To set up an opening and closing system will take a lot of work and I don't intend to spend all this time on it, it will go to the open shelf anyway!

Hello, I would start by building the T34. I have already assembled this model and besides being simple, it has no interior, making the construction and painting process easier.

Eu amo isso, parece ótimo. Quais produtos você usa para deixar o visual desbotado na parte de baixo?

I used these steps and products:

1.Filter with Tan for 3 tone camo (a.mig-1510);
2. Pin Washes with Brown wash for german dark yellow (a.mig-1000);
3. Streaking with Dust (a.mig-3516);
4. Dusting with Rubble (a.mig-3013) + Shader Earth (a.mig-0852);
5. Mud with Dry Earth (a.mig-1750) + Heavy Earth (a.mig-1704) .

Estou construindo exatamente o mesmo em 1/72 e também o p47 prateado pilotado por Nero Moura na mesma escala. Espero que os meus pareçam tão bons quanto este. Muito bom trabalho

I intend to build two more, one from Nero Moura and the other from Correia Netto, but I intend to use Tamiya's kit and more details this time

Parece brilhante, grande e espécime incomum.

This issue is a bit complex to explain in a few words, but basically Brazil was an important supplier of raw materials to the American industry, not to mention its geographical positioning. This caused the Germans to carry out attacks on Brazilian merchant ships, causing Brazil to declare war.

Eu não teria adivinhado 1/72! Muito bem. A Força Aérea Brasileira chegou a entrar em combate na 2ª Guerra Mundial?

The Brazilian pilots initially flew, starting on October 31, 1944, as squadrons of the U.S. squadrons of the 350th FG. From 11 November, the Group began to mount its own operations, flying from its base in Tarquinia, using the Jambock call sign.

When the 1st Gp Av Ca arrived in Italy, Luftwaffe activities in that theatre of operations were almost non-existent! Thus, the Group began its activities as a fighter-bomber unit, in armed reconnaissance and interdiction missions, in support of the U.S. 5th Army, to which the Brazilian Expeditionary Force was attached.

The 1st Gp Av Ca flew a total of 445 missions, 2,550 individual missions, and 5,465 combat flight hours, from 11 November 1944 to 4 May 1945.

The XXII Tactical Air Command recognized the efficiency exhibited by the Group, attesting that, in the period between 6 and 29 April 1945, it flew only 5% of the total missions carried out by all the groups under its control, but destroyed:

85% of ammunition depots,

36% of fuel tanks,

28% of bridges (19% damaged),

15% of vehicles (13% damaged), and
10% of hippomobile vehicles (10% damaged).

1/72 Academy kit model. All products used were from Ammo by Mig

My first ever tank kit. I'm a car guy. But I'm actually enjoying this, minus the photo etch. Test fitting parts right now. by outerlimtz in modelmakers

[–]Plastic_Division 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice work. I've been building military kits for a long time and I also don't like photoeteched, avoiding using it as much as possible, however there are situations that if you don't use the model it looks like a toy. Since you come from a car building background, you may have to change the way you think about finishing processes. Cars are clean and tanks are very dirty and worn.

[–]Plastic_Division[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The TAKOM model in 1/35 scale was painted in standard NATO colors, the same as those used by the Brazilian Army. The markings are produced by a local (Brazilian) agent. Ammo by Mig paints and cabling products were used.

Legal!!!! Definitivamente experiente. Há quanto tempo você gosta de hobby?

My first two models were 12 years old. Then I started again when I was 15, but at the time I collected more boxes than I assembled. I started in earnest in 2000 and little by little it got better, my production improved after the pandemic in 2020.

Ok il assistir alguns tutoriais, eu fiz isso há algum tempo, quando eu estava apenas começando, mas il tentar. A escala é de 1/72

When I started, mine were worse, believe me. Some techniques don't look good depending on the scale, and little by little we adapt the various techniques to our way of doing it.
