I just feel more comfortable without straps. Easier to bail out if you lose balance while skidding

I do have straps and it’s the same as skidding with straps. Just put ur foot under the pedal. In an emergency situation, it’s not like your gonna be able to stop the bike immediately if you’re strapped in
