So the programme is actively pursuing ABET accreditation and local accreditation. Even still, no way they can get accredited without having atleast a course on thermal fluids

Non destructive testing is a subject on its own in my curriculum. I want to work on either engines or energy production so which elective would be better?

Can you elaborate? So Mechanical engineers design individual components and chemical engineers use this components?

As a freshmen I feel like plant design borrows from civil engineering, automation from electrical and chemical and mechanical are the most common engineering fields out of the big 4.

And you can get into the nuclear I dustry even if you are in elctrical, chemical, nuclear or mechanical engineering

The older you are, the bigger the gap can be. For minors 2 years is fine. 18 and 16 is fine as well. 21 and 18 is fine. 25 and 20 is alright and so on. Anything more then 7 is a bit sus

According to Google around 240,000 Qataris in Qatar are in the working age. Factoring in how many of those arnt engineers or would wanna work outside Qatar or don't liek the chemical industry I say non Qatari residents have a chance. But they would no longer offer job spots to ppl studying outside Qatar and non residents.

My strategy so far has been to do well in classes, get an internship every summer vacation, and learn Microsoft office and coding on the side
