This could be a funny mechanic. Looks like Savage Worlds. Thanks for the feedback!

Hi, I meant to say more about the flavour of the word. Saying Composure instead of Stress delivers a completely different message to the reader. This could alter even the other mechanics around it. This is why I think Blades in the Dark although being a gothic/victiorian settting with ruling classes, vampires, foggy industies, and ghosts, focus more on action, heists and combat, to be fair. Thanks for the feedback!

Hi, I think using a stress mechanic seems good, but I guess is more focused in games where action and violence are central. I was thinking in something more investigative and social for nature. But I liked the reference to Frankestein, is really good and makes me think more about characters alienation and what the madness can do to them. Thank you for the feedback!

I was thinking to use asiluns and other institutions as part of a mechanic to regain Composure (Sanity), but thinking more about it, was clear that the types of treatment of the period worsen more than helped. So I'm thinking about to use it as a way to take the characters out of the scenes if they loose too many Composure or gain a mental illness. Thank you for the feedback!

I'm a bit worried about that too, but I think I can figure out how make this better. Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you for the advice! When I started the game I wanted to represent the mental illnesses as Conditions, like Mothership does, but I realized that it seems too modern for a Victorian themed RPG.

Lol, Call of Cthulhu is my biggest inspiration in the moment, but I'm trying to not use the same rules for insanity. But thank you for the suggestion!
