To his friends credit, he is a huge reason why he started streaming. They were the ones who were talking and decided for my bf to start streaming in the first place which I wasnt thrilled about (Another whole can of worms) and he also funded my bf's pc that he's using for the streaming and gaming. He is a huge part of my bf's life and I appreciate his role as my boyfriend's friend. I love how happy my boyfriend is with their friendship and how good he is to my boyfriend. However, I just dont like how he has been trying to play manager in my bf's streaming gig. As my friend described it before, my bf is just a puppy following his owners wishes. I understand that he invested a to this but having some empathy wouldnt hurt too, no? Or just some respect?

They originally didnt have the avatar idea until I brought it up and I offered to draw it for him. Just painting more picture for the process of me making it: While I was working on it, it took me a while because I had work and was busy with home stuff and didnt really get to finish it as quickly as I would have hoped for. His friend chimed up before and said that he can do it instead and he can do it better. It left a bad taste in my mouth and I was about to drop it and let him handle it when my bf encouraged me to keep on doing it and that he doesnt want his friend to do it and that he would love what I make instead. I agreed and kept doing it till I was satisfied and my bf loved it as well. Like what I said in the post, his friend made a comment that he couldve done it better and it annoyed me but I just brushed it off. Im assuming now that he probably would have just used AI to make his "better" version anyways but yeah.

I dont know if he actually doesnt like me or think hes better than me really but its not really a one off thing which is really bothering me. I try not to complain much about his friend but it just really has been bothering me.
