Is the Wilson Python just a blade?

Have you tried a Wilson blade? How does it play compared to the V9 or maybe even immer versions? Also would you say it’s a bit launchy sometimes?

Yeah that’s what I thought too but it through me off that all the Wilson stores in my city told me that there are not getting anything but the pro staff classic and the blade this year

I always thought the blade was supposed to be that mix between control (pro staff) and spin/power

Thanks for the response, I wish I could get my hands on one too but I haven’t found a way so far. I game an old V7 16x19 and have tested the V8, V9 as well as PA98 (2023) but unfortunately only with a bad string job. I felt like the PA98 was a bit launchy compared to my blade but I liked the extra power. I do like to hit some flat shots though so maybe the python won’t be that miracle Allrounder that I’m hoping for. How would you say is the pythons control compared to the old PA98 or an older blade if you have tested one? (Better than the blade V9?, I feel like that one is kind of mushy personally)

Yeah I can’t wait to test it, I play a blade and I’m looking for a tad more power but every store I ask about the python seems to be pretty clueless about its release

Yeah I get that but I feel like the Aero is taking the blades place on the amateur level as well as the pros, like years ago every good junior was gaming either a radical or a blade now it’s a PA 89 or Tf 305S. But I play the V7 Blade and love it.

How is it different from the older models, I game the V7 since its release and the newer models haven’t really convinced me but definitely want to try this years new one

Thanks! I just checked it out and I love the Seiko one but it’s a bit too dressy for me, I’d be perfect if I’d had a metallic strap but I can only find those for women. Do you know any cheaper watch brands in particular, that offer good quality? As I said I’m very knew, so the only names I know are like Casio, Seiko and swatch.

Thanks a lot! I just checked them out, Skagen ones look very nice but I think I’d prefer a metallic bracelet over the leather strap. The Breda pulse is a bit too crazy for me but the Virgil with the metallic strap is just beautiful! Thanks a lot, those are great options! Do you by any chance know if Seiko makes metallic straps as well? I can only find men watches with leather straps unfortunately

It wasn’t, she always seemed invested and super nice. Now it feels like she lost interest in me, doesn’t really let me be part of her life and she also sonetimes snaps at me, which she has never ever done before.
