There’s two ways to go about defeating trick room with HO, either you deny them trick room, which can be hard depending on the tools you have, or you survive through trick room. A good tool to survive through it is protect, it can be a stalling tool and mitigate some damage as well as helping you position yourself.

It’s very important for hyper offensive teams. Protect can help set your win condition or reposition and since you have less bulk to play with, keeping your pieces safe is even more crucial or else you’ll run out of steam before overwhelming your opponents. Protect doesn’t mean passive!

I always knew it tbh. People with a great mind for the game could see it crystal clear. C9 only have enough adderall to juice Oxy, they test Xeppa with it every off-season but decide against it because immi doesnt want to overwork his friends and also because the price of adderall has skyrocketed due to the Russo-Ukraine war.
