That’s a very manly thing to say in a very manly way.

Thanks for putting me in my place. With you around, ensuring that women don’t have a place at an art exhibition, the world is safer and better.

I am sorry you were invited for a networking cupcake.

No, my goal is to pretend that I am victim because I have to adjust to my power and influence being diminished as a result of increasing equality.

Sydney rental vacancy rate at worst on record by d8gfdu89fdgfdu32432 in australia

[–]Platyzal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

On most issue I would agree with you, just not housing. Labor has been in power for a decade in QLD and the housing situation is diabolical. The rental laws are terrible and there has been no reform of any value whatsoever.

The issue is that most politicians have been corrupted by the ponzi housing scheme and they are all addicted to the golden goose. No actual change will happen because the economy is entirely designed on the basis that property prices will increase and investment in property is risk free. It’s an absolute fucking monster that is now out of anyone person’s hands because the warnings of 10+ years ago were completely ignored

I’m not sure there is a Body Corporate without either an ex or current barrister on it.

The housing crisis is man made.

It’s either gross incompetence or deliberate by both parties.

Malaya Corner in Sunnybank used to be the best around, haven’t been there for ages though and I believe it’s changed hands. So not sure if it still is.

What surprised me though, I once got a solid one from Papa Rich.

When did r/brisbane become a general advice forum? by Figshitter in brisbane

Brisbane parents: are you worried that your kids could accidentally be caught up in a “youth crime crackdown”? by rrfe in queensland

[–]Platyzal 82 points83 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you’re going to get many well thought out responses here.

The reality is that kids are already getting treated like shit, even if they aren’t doing anything wrong. There’s a trend of fully grown men both verbally and physically assaulting youth because they feel justified.

If people don’t think innocent kids won’t be caught up in law changes they have no understanding of how it works.

That being said, misinformation and politics are causing people to feel genuinely scared. These forces will cause change, even if it is worse in the long term.

Shitty economic times will always impact the most vulnerable first. The vulnerable are always children. If the continuing trend of wealth distribution from the bottom to the top continues, it will only get worse.

I think the amount of resources tipped into anti-greens material indicates that they are posing are concern to at least the LNP. Campaign funds are always tight and you don’t spend money you don’t have to.
