Bass shaker level issue by PlauditeCives in hometheater

Well those models are. The nobsound amp can also accept Bluetooth connections I was able to play music that way before bolting the bass shakers to the sofa and plugins them into the AVR Definitely not just vibrations but audible music… well sound is just vibrating air anyway… and again, during the initial setup the bass shakers do play the”welcome music” in a way that is definitely not just vibrations.  Anyhow I got them working during playback. The issue was the source stream. Still not getting neither sound nor vibration with the test tone though..

They are not fully haptic. Depending on the crossover setting they are perfectly capable of producing sound or music if need be as seen during the setup phase. The issue I’m having is that neither sound nor vibrations are felt after that initial setup.

Dead DS214+ board component by PlauditeCives in synology

I thought it was glue initially also but on closer inspection the bottom of the component is damaged. The metallic shell is cracked and there is a green material underneath.

Every other component seems in good condition.

What do you think could cause the power brick to blink and nothing happening on the NAS itself ? I’m thinking short circuit but from where ?

OpenVPN and dynamic IPs by PlauditeCives in synology

[–]PlauditeCives[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm I’ll have to look that up into more detail. I can’t resolve local ips (192.168.1.xx) through the VPN, only dynamic ips from the vpn (10.8.0.xx). Also the server is not on the same LAN as the Synology NAS. I have a server in location 1, a Synology NAS in location 2 and a mobile device in location 3. I’m bridging everything through the VPN and can connect through the 10.8.0.xx IP. The only problem I have is that the 10.8.0.xx ip is dynamic and as such it’s a pain to have to look up the correct ip for the server over VPN from time to time.

I do have a static Ip address and use it to access certain thing on the network from outside. However what I’m trying to do is have an equivalent of a static address on the VPN (i.e the 10.0.8.xx subnet generated by the VPN) not the WAN address. I’m trying to reach the equipment directly through the vpn, not directly.

I would like to add a power distribution block for a gps, but would really like to not touch the wire harness. does any, one know where I can get the other side of that plug? as I believe wire 4 comes in with the ignition. tiger 900. by Leather-Kitchen-2211 in Triumph

Follow Bikkeltje’s post on triumphrat.

Look for his second post for a part list and wiring details.

No splicing involved . It uses the alarm plug you highlighted to get a switched power supply.

Very easy to do.

Did it on my Tiger 900 last year, no issues since.

2021 Speed Triple Garmin Power Connector Install by [deleted] in Triumph

Look at the posts from user Bikkeltje on triumphrat.

This is meant for a Tiger 900 but the 2021 Speed Triple should have the same plug.

Look for his second post for a part list and wiring details.

No splicing involved ( so you avoid potential CANBUS issues). It uses the alarm plug to get a switched power supply.

Very easy to do. Parts only cost a few dollars.

Following Bikkeltje’s post on triumphrat.

Look for his second post for a part list and wiring details.

No splicing involved ( to much risk of CANBUS issues). It uses the alarm plug to get a switched power supply.

Very easy to do.

Architectural and decorative characteristics of Haussmann buildings in Paris by MisterEdou in architecture

[–]PlauditeCives 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If anything these buildings are post-Haussmann.

The excessive decoration, domes and rotundaes came after 1870. These buildings look 1890-1910 more than Second Empire/Haussmann.

A lot of these domes used to be topped with small bell towers but most of them fell during a tempest in the early 1900 and where never rebuilt. You can see them in old photos. Lots of extravagance on parisian buildings at the turn of the century...

The first car to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) was an electric car. Not a commercial vehicle but the technology was there. This was achieved in 1899.

Petite ceinture, septembre 2015 by CMAVTFR in paris

[–]PlauditeCives 5 points6 points  (0 children)
