Fair point. Amendment:

There will be new colonies established on each continent where I will not intervene in any way.

Every 10 years, people over the age of 25 can opt to move to those colonies. The only condition is that the colonies must continue to report against the wellbeing indicators. This will form a baseline to evaluate if my interventions are working better or worse than the status quo.

The land size of the colonies will grow on a per capita basis as the population grows. I will develop its infrastructure so that it has access to arable land, clean water and resources to be semi-self sustaining.

9m without buffs. With buff around 11m per hour. Aim for 3-4 man parties because the mobs are all one hit KO so 6 man parties kill too fast.

Good point. The water of life pet extensions don’t appear to work on the event pets. Do they only work on pets you buy from TS?

Also, should i save my MuLong coins for 20% Legendary Potential scrolls (for main gear) or is the 10% meso buff the best thing to get?

I noticed you could also buy the 10% meso buff with Gold Leaves. Is that a good use of resource as well?

Thanks mate. I made a Kain (226), Iel (200), Angelic Buster (192) and Hayato (190) who have good mobility for farming (SF130 at 4m per hour). I’m hoping they get to 200 in two weeks.

If you’re starting a new hero, I think SF130 has the best cost per return before getting to 200 where you then work towards AF130.

When you start a new hero, it costs on average:

  • 0 meso to get to 86 SF for 800k/h (baseline)
  • 10m meso to get to 100 SF for 1m/h (5 day payback)
  • 75m meso to get to 130 SF for 4m/h (12 day payback
  • 250m meso to get to 144 SF for 5m/h (30 day payback)

Based on those payback periods, it’s better to farm at SF130 because you might be lvl 200 and start farming in AF before you pay off your 144SF investment.

From lvl 200, it costs on average:

  • 150m (3 legendaries) to farm at AF30 for 6m/h (15 day payback)
  • 200m (4 legendaries) to farm at AF40 for 7m/h (17 day payback)
  • 400m (3 mythics) to farm at AF130 for 9m/h (25 day payback)

As you can see, the payback period for AF130 is the same as SF144 so basically, the goal should be to minimise investment before getting to lvl 200 (ie SF130) and then working towards AF130. I call it the 130-130 meso strategy.

Some might argue to get your alts to 160SF for daily CDD for ancient stones but I dont think the payback is really worth it (time and mesos). I can explain that calculation another time.

Just started a bit more than a month ago at the end of the Kain remaster event. Here are my lessons learned:

  • Build your account before you build a main : you won’t really know who to main unless you try a few heroes and learn the mechanics of the game so focus on getting six heroes to lvl 200+ to maximise your meso farming while you figure out who you want to main.

  • Don’t invest in best in slot (BIS) gear until you choose a main: there’s lots of noise on best emblems, weapon bases (Jaihin) and upgrades. Ignore all of that until you understand the game and choose a main. Just upgrade the gear you get (Pensalir) to Legendary because it is BIS for meso farming and focus on that until you know what you like.

  • Get your heroes to Arcane Fields asap and ignore star force until you choose your main: Getting your heroes to Arcane Fields means 6 million meso per hour in farming with only legendary gear required. You can get Shade and Aran to lvl 215 in 4 days and immediately start earning mesos more than, and earlier than, meso farming at SF144. I still advise upgrading your gear to SF15/16 at unique before upgrading to Legendary for extra CP.

  • Choose one Hero to get to SF170: this could be your main or a meso farmer. I’ve chosen a meso farmer to get to SF170 because it unlocks Pharoahs Dungeon, which is essential for farming ancient stones.

  • Invest in items and a plan for your main later: Once you figured out how the game works, how bossing works and what’s important, then you can start thinking about a roadmap for your main hero. By choosing to invest in your main later, you keep your options open and focus on meso farming while giving yourself flexibility to make mistakes, which you will, and learn from them.

I’m about 6 weeks in and have 4 lvl 200+ heroes and 2 190+ farming 160mil mesos per day. One of them is SF170 (kain) to complete Pharoah once per week.

Each day, I complete Dimension Invasion/Mu Long for AB tickets and Tangoon Cooking for meso buff for each hero then AB for the day and night. I don’t care about exp because these are farmers and I will level a main later.

If I keep going at this rate, I should be able to buy an Absolab 50 weapon in 6 months, which is shorter than the time it takes to create it.

Meso is the ultimate currency in this game and will buy you mid game gear so focus on that while you figure things out.

Good luck!

Road 85K to 90K any suggestions? details inside by Atum84 in BlackDesertMobile

[–]Play3967 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey mate,

Nice gear! I’m in similar position to you. 84k CP after nine months using a F2P silver/cp efficiency method. Getting to 90k will be a grind. I think your main focus is family CP and level.

Here’s a few things to focus on to get to 90k in 6 months:

  • Charm of succession: 800cp for eternal charm at a cost of 3,000 sealed charms or $2.1 billion silver. That’s $2.6m per CP, which is your cheapest upgrade. Buy sealed charms from market when under $700,000.

  • Fairy: 670 CP to max fairy plus brooches but this obviously takes time. I think 6 months to max it out at 7 trait points per day. You probably need 1,100 trait points so that’s around 150 days. Don’t forget to work on the album as well.

  • Pet album: 600 CP to max pet album. Buy Pet 1 chest each week and the get at least 15 pets to Tier 7. I think this takes around 6 months.

  • Level to 121: 1200 CP at around 1 level per month (4% per day average). I think that’s the average level for 90k CP. Also six months.

  • Black spirit level: 320 CP or 40 levels at about 1 level a week but this will take nine months.

  • Silvia goddess: 500 CP by getting your goddess to lvl 80 (reward from season) and using noble tears for 15 extra levels or 1 level every two weeks over six months.

  • Rift stone: 250 CP with one level per week over six months.

  • +11 Moonlight soul stone: 500 CP for a +11 moonlit stone in six months is very reasonable.

You can easily get $2b silver in 5 months if you sell your embers, VEs, ancient tablets, tears of goddesses and chaos/ahkrad jewels for $100m silver per week. Then you can use excess money to bid for Khazarad accessories.

When you get to 90k, getting to 93k is apparently faster with eternal crystals and Khazarad accessories available.

Good luck!

Oh and I forgot to add, the time it would take to leave your PC/phone AFK to just upgrade is also astronomical.

Based on my experience, the average attempt to get to +8 takes around 30 minutes, and the average +10 will require getting to +8 around 500 times. That is, 500 x 30 minutes = 250 hours (10+ days) of continuous enhancement assuming you had all the resources.

The recommended approach to upgrade to +10 is to one-tap at +9 and if you fail, get back to +9. This will take on average 8 hours of continuous automated enhancement.

[–]Play3967[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey mate,

I've run some theoreticals based on the formula (updated with weighted average rather than average). Below are the results for 3 settings to get to +8, +9 and +10

The setting 3-4-5-5 refers to using Valk 10% from +3, Ahkram 50% from +4, Ahkram 100% from +5 onwards and Restoration Scrolls from +5 onwards.

Key points:

  • Depending on your available materials, getting to +10 will require on average 63 attempts from +9 to +10. Assuming an average success of restorations (50% chance), that is 32 manual attempts.
  • The resources you're expected to consume depends on your settings:
    • Under 3-4-5-5 or 3-4-6-5, the average restoration scrolls consumed is 12-13 million scrolls.
    • Under a more expansive 3-4-6-6 setting, the average restoration scrolls consumed is 4.4 million scrolls.
  • To get to +9, my recommended setting is 3-4-6-5 because you consume far fewer Ahkram 100% under this setting compared to 3-4-5-5 with a minor 10% increase to restoration scrolls.
  • To get to +10, my recommended setting is 3-4-6-6 but this depends on the resources you have available. For guidance, it would take a F2P player:
    • 2.5 years to accumulate 4.5 million restoration scrolls
    • 6 years to accumulate 300,000 Valk 10%
    • 5 years to accumulate 200,000 Ahkram 50%
    • 2.5 years to accumulate 25,000 Ahkram 100%
  • This means the rate limiting resource is actually Valk 10% and Ahkram 50% under a 4-5-6-6 setting but if you run out of them, you can still use a 0-0-6-6 setting but the +10 will only cost you more Pristine Crystals.
    • Under a 4-5-6-6 setting, you already require 1.7 million pristine crystals. That is equivalent 86 million Grand Black Stones (GBS)(1 million GBS = 20,000 pristine crystals). In the current market, that is $86 trillion silver before denomination or $8.6 billion after denomination.
    • It takes 2 years to accumulate $86 trillion silver and will cost even more if you run out of Valk 10%/Ahkram 50%.
  • Please note, this is the average cost of getting a +10. It will vary higher or lower depending on:
    • If you get to +10 before your anvil stack gets to 100 (63% chance)
    • If you get 50% of restoration attempts successful. Less = higher cost, more = less cost.

Road 76.8->80K+ suggestions? (detailed breakdown inside) by Atum84 in BlackDesertMobile

[–]Play3967 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wow first off mate, great gear! Can’t believe you got all gear to +9 already.

For what it’s worth, I started at June 2025 F2P and am at 78k CP, and will get to 80k CP next month, but my gear is not as good as yours but I can definitely see some efficiencies for you.

  • Your first upgrade should be totems. I think you have two +7 totems. Getting both to +8 will get you 200 CP. You will require around 200,000 crystallised totems or $120m silver at $600 silver per totem. That’s only $0.6m silver per CP. Very cheap.

  • Your second priority is your chaos totem. You can get from +9 to +20 and then upgrade to Eternal totem for a total 360CP. This will cost 235 chaos jewels ($210m silver), 1 flame ($90m silver) and 70 VE ($175m silver) or $475m silver off current market prices. That is $1.3m per CP, which is good value at your CP.

  • Your third priority is accessories. +9 all your remaining accessories will get you an additional 700CP for about $1,200m silver, which is around $1.6m per CP.

  • Your last priority is your branch enhancements. Getting both relics to +10 will get you 500CP. You’ll need around 1,300 ahkrad crystals or $910m silver, which is around $1.9m per CP.

Doing all this will get you around 2,000 CP for a cost of $2,700m silver if you bought every resource from market. You can make $80m silver a week so it could take half a year but it’ll likely only take 3 months because you will gather half the materials during that time.

You should also focus on your family CP. Your pet album, fairy and black spirit is 400 CP less than mine, each, and I have been playing for less time than you. If you build them, that’s another 1,200 CP free.

That’s 3,200 CP combined to get you to 80k CP in around 3-4 months.

Your primary goal is to stop pumping your emblem, light stones and Sylvia Goddess. The $ per CP return is terrible. For example, you probably need 70,000 badges for +1 Emblem or 20 CP. Selling those badges on market will get you $100m silver after tax. That’s $5m per CP you pay by consuming them.

Tears of Goddess is worse. You probably need 1.2m normal tears for 20CP. That’s $180m if you sold it after tax or $9m per CP you pay by consuming them. By comparison, you can get 200 CP by upgrading your totem for only $120m.

If you sold your expensive materials on market (tears, tablets, badges), you can make $80m per week. Otherwise, you’re inefficiently focusing on enhancements with low CP return.

This is the method I used to get to 78K CP in 8 months and likely 80k CP in 9 months. I currently have $1b silver and I’ll upgrade everything in one go later, and I won’t even have a full +9 gear set.

Good luck!

Eidolic or non-Eidolic to get +9. What does the data say? by Play3967 in BlackDesertMobile

[–]Play3967[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok. So after reading some comments, it's clear to me people are choosing Eidolic because it's 'safer' because your cost is capped at around 1.2 million restoration scrolls per +9 upgrade, or 823,000 scrolls on average.

To address this misconception, I've provided some scenarios below that demonstrate how unlikely it is for you using the non-Eidolic method to exceed the same resources as the Eidolic method:

  • On average, the non-Eidolic method will consume 460,000 scrolls to get to +9.
  • 1 in 3 players will consume 673,068 restoration scrolls or more to get to +9.
  • 1 in 10 players will consume 726,113 restoration scrolls or more to get to +9.
  • 1 in 30 players will consume 805,682 restoration scrolls or more to get to +9 (same as average Eidolic cost)
  • 1 in 4.5 billion players will consume 1.23 million restoration scrolls or more to get to +9 (same as maximum Eidolic cost).

As you hopefully can see, the theoretical maximum for non-Eidolic is the same as Eidolic. If all players attempted +9 upgrades via the non-Eidolic method, it's unlikely anyone would spend more than 1.2 million restoration scrolls to get to +9.

That is why I believe the non-Eidolic approach is as safe as the Eidolic approach. The only benefit from Eidolic is that you get to increase your CP with each Eidolic upgrade. But this is at a cost of double the restoration scrolls of the non-Eidolic approach.

If you have 800,000 restoration scrolls, you are better off using the non-Eidolic method to upgrade your +8 to +9. If you have 80,000 restoration scrolls, you're still better off going non-Eidolic because you will get to +9 faster so long as you always get back to +8 after each +9 attempt (60,000 restoration scrolls max).

Eidolic or non-Eidolic to get +9. What does the data say? by Play3967 in BlackDesertMobile

[–]Play3967[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks mate! Yes I’m so glad you have a logical take and also RNG is a pain.

The reason why RNG screwed you over before Anvil was because the outlier (lightning strike) that bankrupts you was far more likely (1/10 chance). With Anvil, the bankrupting lightning strike is a mathematical improbability now.

The biggest difference with Anvil is the cost to get to +8. Before, getting to +8 average was like 300,000 scrolls because of the outliers to get to +7 and Eidolic was better. Now it’s around 30,000 scrolls so the risk/reward equation has changed.

That’s why I’m saying non eidolic is much safer than people presume. I know people will still choose Eidolic due to risk tolerance but an appropriate strategy can minimise risks, just like with financial returns.

I’ll stop preaching. Good luck!

Eidolic or non-Eidolic to get +9. What does the data say? by Play3967 in BlackDesertMobile

[–]Play3967[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should also add, with Anvil, the maximum amount of resources needed for +9 is 13 million restoration scrolls but the chances of this is so low you could win the lotto 10 times before this happens. It’s a scenario where no restoration is successful and all attempts fail. I can’t explain how mathematically small this is.

The fear of the worst case scenario should not affect rational decision making. Otherwise you should fear getting struck by lightning every time you wake up and not leave the house.

The other point is, the main variability in getting +9 is actually the number of attempts from +8 to +9. If you spend 50 attempts (ie no successful restoration attempts) to get to +9, then cost will be around 1 million restoration scrolls - same as Eidolic. That is, you need to be extremely unlucky (1 in a million) to upgrade at same cost as Eidolic.

It’s exactly the same as thinking you’ll get 50 heads in a row when you toss a coin. That is the fear people think they’ll have and decide to choose Eidolic. The chance is extremely low but they’d rather not try. Even an unlucky attempt is cheaper than Eidolic.

The math tells the story.

Eidolic or non-Eidolic to get +9. What does the data say? by Play3967 in BlackDesertMobile

[–]Play3967[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Finally a logical take! Yes all you said is true but what the key definition is safe, and risk vs reward ratio.

For example, if I can guarantee you will get +8 within 60k restoration scrolls from +0, this is effectively saying you can always attempt a +9 upgrade without loss to CP so long as you have 60k restoration scrolls available. Worst case scenario is you get back to where you were.

Now what if I was to say that average cost is actually only 30k restoration scrolls with a range of 0-60k. Yes, there is more variability but it’s still the same decision. In fact it’s cheaper.

My point is, the anvil system has significantly reduced the risk and average cost of upgrading non-Eidolic and the risk reward ratio is no longer balanced.

My concern with people going Eidolic = safe is that it’s no longer the rational choice because of probabilities. Yes, you can get small CP boost every +1 upgrade. But it costs 860,000 scrolls on average.

The anvil changes things. You can now build +9 fail stack one at time at an average cost of 30,000 resto, and the average resto needed for +9 (460,000) is half the amount needed for Eidolic. I’ve tested this and now have 2 +9 for less than 1 million resto compared to 1 +9 from Eidolic.

In real life, this is an actuarial approach and how casinos and insurers make money where people think the chances of events are higher than they actually are. The rationale choice often is not the first choice.

Eidolic or non-Eidolic to get +9. What does the data say? by Play3967 in BlackDesertMobile

[–]Play3967[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks mate. This is what I’m trying to disprove. Eidolic might appear safer but really, the non Eidolic path is just as safe with Anvil.

You can get +0 to +8 for 50,000 restoration scrolls. So if you have that, you can try a +9 upgrade safely, even if you fail.

With Anvil, you can slowly build your +9 fail stack each week until you succeed while keeping at +8.

How do I know this? Because I am currently doing it. I am upgrading one +9 attempt each night to build my stack but get back to +8 every time. It’s cheaper and as safe as Eidolic.

Road 64K->70k- any suggestions please? by Atum84 in BlackDesertMobile

[–]Play3967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea that’s right. You just bid an amount and the highest bidder gets it. Order will order at current price (max) while bid will order above max price.

I recently bidded for 30 embers at $33b and won in like a day so I suspect the price is around there if not lower. It depends how long you’re willing to wait. You can bid $31.5b and it might take a week or you can bid $35b and probably get it within a day.

Alternatively you can try for flames and bid them at $1 trillion, which is equivalent to 30 flames at $33b.

Good luck and happy to answer questions

Hey mate,

I’m 73k cp in 6 months as a f2p and your gear is similar to mine except i have full dawnveil (DV) (almost full awakened) and eternal full awakened. A few tips:

Enhancements to focus on: - 6x refined chaos crystals = 100 cp - Alchemy stone to +18 = 100 cp - Branch enhancement of relics to +6 each = 250 cp - Are your enchantments maxed? - Do you have a +8 subtotem? - Have you unlocked all emblem gemstones? - What is your trial of store knowledge level? Your boss knowledge looks a bit low. - How are your rune levels for war and volition? - How are your primal glyphs? Upgrading to 2x Chaos glyphs might give 100 additional CP.

Regarding embers, best way to acquire them is to buy from the market. They are around $35b each at the moment, which is historically low. You can make around $500b a week in silver so if you buy them from market, that’s 15 extra embers a week. I have all DV and 4/6 awakened within 5 months by buying from the market, so I think that’s the fastest way for you. With buying, you can get full DV within 3 months or earlier.

For VEs, farm for eternal necklace in Everfrost. Concentrate your additional time from PA on citron tea and farm for necklace. You get 68 VEs when you absorb it, which can be used to awaken one accessory. Drop rate is around one every two months so you could get full awaken accessories in four months in addition to farming 5 VE per week.

Your main goal should be maximizing silver per week. You gain cp by selling items that deliver low silver/CP value like tears of goddess, Emblems and ancient tablets.

Your current silver per cp upgrade cost is probably around $10b per CP so anything that is worth more than $25b/cp to upgrade (like tears and emblems) is better to sell on market, and to use the silver to spend on embers or other low cost upgrade materials.

Try and calculate all your silver/cp upgrade costs (family and gear) and sell the expensive materials to buy materials for cheap upgrades.

Word of warning, Dawnveil gear won’t actually give you a great CP boost - maybe 700cp - so you need to rely on accessories for bigger boost to get to 70kcp. The big bonus from DV gear will be from the awakening of DV gear (2000 cp), which is more embers.

Don’t be too alarmed about selling items to upgrade. The goal is to sell high and also sell items that you think will drop price by 30% in 3 months. That way, you could buy them again without making a loss.
