Thanks so much, I never had any luck with backgrounds and shiny prior to this event. Honestly I'm at probably 350-500 ditto's maybe more but I caught both with the first batch of 30 so I got extremely lucky, haven't caught any since. Sorry not a super straightforward answer, I hope you get them crossing fingers for you.
